It took him a while to calm down enough to approach Lysa again.

In the days between the keep had filled with the guests of Lysa’s great ball. It would not have even come to his attention how many guest brought daughters around Tyrion’s age if he had not been given the actual reason for the festivity.

Speaking of not noticing: He would never have cared for the way his father treated Lysa and the pressure and thread he put over her head. (He would have felt for Tyrion after his little marriage adventure, but he would have probably not seen the depth of his pain.) (Neither Lysa nor the crofter’s daughter were Lannisters after all.)

A part of Jaime selfishly wished he could have stayed ignorant of how dangerous his father was, not only to their enemies, but for family members he saw as inferior.

It would have been easier if he could just be angry at Lysa for keeping the information from Tyrion and not have this newfound understanding of the reasons why she did not. It could have been so easy.
