wow its been a hot minute since i drew anything for the popiverse huh. this is the first time ive properly drawn rose since i made his ref sheet tbh, i literally have not drawn him outside it LMAO (not including the silhouette i made for the cover of 'a healthy sort of love')

rose and mystic are not currently canon as a pairing in the popiverse, but they're the eventual endgame ship for eachother, so yes this pic is canon to the popiverse

these two remind me a lot of me and my partner @dovefrilled <3 <3 <3 (me being mystic, him being rose)

yes mystic has a slightly altered hairstyle! a lot of people drew her for artfight last year and added this little curve to her mane instead of it being a flat circle, and i really liked it, so i've decided to canonize it as part of her design!!

i also took advantage of my shading of this piece to shade in her tail and make it more obvious that it's one huge curl. her hair shine might obscure it a bit but you can tell easier when you zoom in on it

i tried something different with the eyestyles as well and im lowk obsessed with it

i would've had this done earlier but uh. the whole 'i lost my house' thing happened. i started this on the 13th and only continued working on it on the 21st, so literally the day before we lost our house............................

but hey i got my pc back yesterday so heres the finished product

in total i spent about 4 days working on this piece!! total hour count for the piece is around 27 hours, not including what little breaks i took

oh gods. i think it has to be mouthwashing for me. it's the sinking dread, the psychological terror and the horror of what people are capable of after doing so much harm onto someone - is what really, really gets me. i am the horror connoisseur so i know there are very much other horrifying games out there but i feel like mouthwashing took the entire cake for me the first time i went through it.

JUST REMEMBERED ANOTHER GAME I CAME ACROSS AFTER WRITING THIS DOWN SO DON'T KNOW IF THIS COUNTS TO ANSWERING BUT i recently came across this game called 'hi, what's your emergency?' by the bober bros; and we take the role of a child trying to barricade our own door away from the parents trying to break in as we attempt to call for emergency there were so many different endings; the operators can actually IGNORE you and accuse you of a false report until they break in, there's panic attacks and there is. so much in the game that i can't actually properly describe without shaking and do NOT get me started on the art and the sound design for it. genuinely do Not get me started on that. i fear this game AND mouthwashing were the scariest games that i've experienced so far.
