what up!! i'm colt (xe/it/snarl/spade/club, see pronouns page for others), i'm 22, a semi-professional author under the penname hunter bunnyfields, and am otherwise an indie vtuber, youtuber, streamer, artist, and musician!
this blog is primarily the home of my longest running series, which i've been producing since 2015; THE JOURNAL. it started as a minecraft roleplay based on aphmau's minecraft diaries, but evolved into its own thing as i started taking it more seriously! more info can be found at the prior attached link (which is from my official fandom wiki)
HOWEVER, this is also my content creator space, so you'll see me posting about more than just my books! livestreams, youtube videos, artworks, music, etc. can also be found here whenever they're made
additionally i'm using this blog as my own personal fandom space so i can post fics about my series, and my own headcanons (which, i want to clarify, will never be canonized and are solely made for fun). if you want to send me fan-art/fics or your own hcs, the askbox is always open, and you can tag this blog on your own posts! (note; i use xkit rewritten because of my roleplay blogs, which screws up my notifs for some reason? so some might get eaten and i may take a few days to reply) and if tumblr doesn't let you get through with tagging this blog, you can always tag my main; @fagmonarch

the originators.txt = 'the originators' is a story that utilizes every old design of my ponysona. they are born as an originator, the planetary caretaker of their home world, which they must protect from outside magic and nurture to keep magic flowing in the world's ley lines
the popiverse.txt = 'the popiverse' is my mlpg4 next gen, focused on rarity and twilight's daughters mystic amethyst and lapis lazulight. mystic is the protagonist, and as such, the story focuses on disability and the external & internal tells of one's spiralling mental health
the traumaverse.txt = 'the traumaverse' is a universe i created exclusively as a coping mechanism. it features various unhealthy and codependent relationships that grow and change with the story, as i learn to cope with and move past my own struggles with their topics
cold-blooded sacrifices.txt = 'cold-blooded sacrifices' is a story originally made as a glenwood prep au. anthurium and future allies are used as test subjects by the military, who aim to make a bioweapon with the strongest animals and their traits. anthurium leads a group that attempts to rescue all 'students' before they turn, and search for his friend (who he doesn't believe was killed by the procedures)
what's in a tail.txt = 'what's in a tail' is a magical furry fantasy series. the protagonist is candy fox, a rich girl who goes to a school primarily for magic users. the amount of tails one possesses showcases how powerful they are with or without magic, and candy flexes her five tails as much as she can, with encouragement from her partner jex
graphiteclan.txt = 'graphiteclan' is a warriors story made with clangen, following the murder drones clangen challenge. after their colony is attacked, daisy and her adoptive daughter rain flee with as many living drones as they can. they set up a new colony elsewhere, praying for peace from the dissassembly drones that destroyed their home. but, are they safe from the infection that created the drones..?
multi-verse ocs.txt = my 'multi-verse ocs' folder encompasses my ocs that can be put into any universe! they are generally fandomless in nature, but i draw/put them in fandom environments for fun. they don't always have a home environment and are oftentimes more of a concept than they are a fully-fledged character, so asking about them helps give them a place to call home!
planet earth.txt = my 'planet earth' folder encompasses my ocs that are more humanoid than others, or are just general humans. not all of them are in the same universe, but i can't split them into their own folders because their story isnt enough to create an entire world out of
furry world.txt = my 'furry world' folder encompasses all of my furry ocs and/or fursonas. they all exist together on the same planet, but i don't always draw them interacting because... they scare me, lol. asks about their hypothetical interactions with other furry ocs, or characters from other worlds, are always open
fandom ocs.txt = my 'fandom ocs' folder encompasses all of my ocs that were made for specific fandoms! characters that are not sorted are the only character for their fandom, and i currently have no intentions to create more characters for that world*

wow its been a hot minute since i drew anything for the popiverse huh. this is the first time ive properly drawn rose since i made his ref sheet tbh, i literally have not drawn him outside it LMAO (not including the silhouette i made for the cover of 'a healthy sort of love')
rose and mystic are not currently canon as a pairing in the popiverse, but they're the eventual endgame ship for eachother, so yes this pic is canon to the popiverse
these two remind me a lot of me and my partner @dovefrilled <3 <3 <3 (me being mystic, him being rose)
yes mystic has a slightly altered hairstyle! a lot of people drew her for artfight last year and added this little curve to her mane instead of it being a flat circle, and i really liked it, so i've decided to canonize it as part of her design!!
i also took advantage of my shading of this piece to shade in her tail and make it more obvious that it's one huge curl. her hair shine might obscure it a bit but you can tell easier when you zoom in on it
i tried something different with the eyestyles as well and im lowk obsessed with it
i would've had this done earlier but uh. the whole 'i lost my house' thing happened. i started this on the 13th and only continued working on it on the 21st, so literally the day before we lost our house............................
but hey i got my pc back yesterday so heres the finished product
in total i spent about 4 days working on this piece!! total hour count for the piece is around 27 hours, not including what little breaks i took

this is an attack on my beloved @dovefrilled for an af attack he made me last year!!!!! i didnt have the motivation to beat him up /pos last year but i did this year >:))))) so here's da sillay
Two things absolutely changed my life as a writer. You ready?
One- Your characters can be bad people, they can do bad things. There doesn't have to be a reason or a moral. You can make them bad if you want to. No other reason needed.
Two- it doesn't have to be good, it just needs to be written. On my last book i literally wrote the words "dumbest version" on the top of the page because I had seen some advice to do that. It changed everything. I stopped trying to make it perfect, I just tried to make it. Period. Full stop. You can edit bad writing. You can't edit a blank page.
And honestly? Defiance is the best writing I've ever done. All because I let my characters be bad and I gave myself the freedom to write it badly.
