So I was sketching some hollow knight fan art and realized grimm and hornet have such a similar color palette??? I feel like there would be SOOO much potential for a really visually immersive DLC for silksong... like the troupe in pharloom?!?!

It was just a fun set of quests and bossfights in the original game, but I lowkey like the move sets in silksong better so I REALLY want this DLC PLEASEEEE.

Anywayyyy, here are the sketches I was talking about. I was drawing ghost and white lady with pk too, but those were on the opposite side of the color spectrum, didnt wanna break the harmony.

Still a lot of work to do, but this video game is only a class assignment so I'm trying not to be too much of a perfectionist about it till later.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A STORY!!!!

And it is SLOWLY becoming realized.... as a video game....

I and working on a visually immersive video game for an interactive media class. I am using this project as a sort of excuse to work on a silly story idea ive been thinking of for a while. Since I want this story to be interactive, a video game seems to be the PERFECT format!

Here is some of the concept art!!

One note.... I would LOVE some help!! Voice acting or sound effects/sound tracks is something I really struggle with. I am a visual artist, everything from animation to map design to the actual game mechanics are handled by Dove (me 😛).

Right now, I am simply working on a very basic version as a sort of "proof of concept" so you actually have a product to look at and interact with (which should be done in a few weeks ^^)

When thats done and I make it public, I would LOVE for some folks to try it out and see if they would be willing to work as a team to make a fully realized game demo! This would be just a small sample of the fully story im working on, but much more sophisticated than this "proof of concept" project ^^

Anywho, right now im just finishing up the map and animations and working on putting them into the engine ^^

So i defeated the second sentinel the other day and that was such a fun boss fight, but what's more interesting to me is the fact they literally went out of their way to trick Hornet into meeting them? Its funny to imagine them taking their time to sit and write something to put on the wish board 😭

Anyway, I'm glad they didnt die in the end because I wouldve been devastated, they seemed so genuine, lol. Enjoy this dumb doodle I made of them
