Howdy, name's Mark. Don't got much ta say on myself but I got plenty of stories ta tell. If ya ask I'll tell ya I got a pack. Their just back home. There a place ta go fishin' around here?

I tend ta stick out at that store too. Got no problem goin’ though the different smells sometimes get ta me.

For me, it is just really busy and I feel like I miss it a lot. Which can be a little upsetting.

“It was bad, but I’ve seen worse,” she explained to him, Sophia not wanting to think much about how dangerous it might have been. “Things are slowly getting better though, so just watch for those are inured.”

That didn’t cause for alarm or anything. Nope. Not in the least. “That’s good.” He still wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not. Especially if it wasn’t the worst one she’d seen. “How likely do ya think it is that another raid will happen?”

Mark hummed. Not all small towns were bad, that much he knew. It was just hard to shake the initial feeling they gave him. “That had ta be nice. Knowin’ everyone means less of a chance ta get away with something.” Clearing his throat he tried to get his good mood back. “If ya don’t mind me askin’ where do ya call home?”

“That is amazing,” Addison grinned in amazement. “I know nothing about horses but still I wish I did, I mean I think we alway injure ourselves doing what we love. I broke a few bones trying to take pictures…but this stays between us okay!?” She warned with an accusing finger. 

“Not much ta know ‘bout ‘em.” Well that wasn’t really true. But everything that came with taking care of a horse was like second nature to Mark at this point so it seemed like there wasn’t that much to know. “There was this one though, stubbornest horse I’d ever met. Didn’t want any of us near him. Shit I swear this guy only had one expression. He glared at everyone.” Mark ran a hand through his hair and shook his head at the memory. “Course me bein’ me I had ta try and ride ‘im. Didn’t go over well. Anyone watchin’ woulda thought it was my first time ridin’ with the way he threw me off.” Glancing over Mark crossed his heart, “Yes ma’am. As far as I know you ain’t never broken a bone in yer life.”

Heavens no.” Jason shook his head as he moved to brush past Mark, shoulder brushing the other male’s as he made his way to the door of the studio. “I don’t think I could put up with your singing and twang when you’re in the shower every day.” He called back, glancing over his shoulder with a wink before he began to make his way upstairs once more.

“I have a voice of an angel and ya know it!” Mark snickered and gave the studio one last look before following Jason back up the stairs and shook his head. “What made ya get a house this big anyways?” He asked curiously.

“That sounds like a nice life.” She nodded, in fact she was a little envious. Her dad was constantly working ot going to school for a majority of her life. He was a present father sure, but her mother…that was another story. “What sort of animals did you have?” She wondered aloud as she looked up at him curiously. 

“Horses mainly.” They’d a few other animals from time to time. But Mark had spent most of his time around the horses and taking care of them. His lips twitched up in amusement as a memory came to mind. “Injured myself real good fer the first time on a horse.”
