I should have brought flowers// Viktor and Juliette 4/7

Viktor grinned, fascinated by Julietteās amazement with his library window. She was so beautiful in her curiosity that it was difficult for him not to stare as she pressed her fingertips to the warm pane of glass. āI thought it was a lovely addition,ā the older vampire agreed with Julietteās assessment as humbly as was possible. He took the opportunity when the redhead closed her eyes to bask in the artificial sunlight to sidle up behind her and coil his large arms around her middle. āSomewhere in between, actually.ā He replied, his voice low and inviting near her ear. āMagic. Sometimes I hear birds, other times cicadas or crickets depending on the season.ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
Juliette relaxed, simply feeling the warmth on her skin. It was unlike anything she could imagine. The woman had tried every heating source that she could think of, yet nothing came close to whatever it was that Viktor used.Ā āItās more than that.ā She smiled, turning to him. If she did not already admire the mind that read all these books, she would marvel at his intelligence for thinking up something like an artificial sun.Ā āIt changes with the season?ā She strained her ears hoping to hear the crickets chirping as they had when she was still human. She always loathed the noise, but with eternal night, she had come to miss the simpler things.Ā āAre there other things I should see?ā
