Lyney from Genshin Impact!! He's an orphan with a twin sibling and an adopted younger brother who all work in intelligence gathering for an organization with highly dubious morals. All three of them have been involved in, if not directly killing bureaucrats
Lyney and his twin, Lynette, run a magic show that is famous within the city they reside in. Often times the magic show is used as a distraction and cover up for crime and intelligence gathering. The two learned magic when they were living in the streets by watching another magician and being briefly mentored by him. Sadly that magician was killed shortly after. But the twins got their revenge years later by making the murderer's life tragic and taking away her true love.
Im being very careful to not write an essay so these next parts are going to be rather context-lacking 🙃 Lyney has been picked by the head of orphanage/~5th ranked individual in the organization with dubious morals to be the next successor of her. Which means eventually he has to kill his current only parental figure which well then undoubtedly make him commit many atrocities for the morally dubious organization - but he atleast will protect the orphanage!!
In genshin there are these things called 'visions' which are basically gems that imbue elemental power in the individual they are gifted to in a kind of 'devine favour'. But the morally dubious organization, which i really should have nammed by now, made their own versions called 'delusions'which grand power on the same, if not higher level, at the cost of the holders life force/vitality which can result in death very quickly. Lyney at one point had asked for a delusion, as he desperately wished to go on missions with his sister who had a vision, enabling her to go on more risky missions. She would often cime back injured and worse for wear, becoming more detached. Luckily Lyney was convinced otherwise, and continued to help from the sidelines by making technology along with their adopted little brither, Freminet. I am also very obsessed with Freminet... he has his own tragic back story.
Some 'shorter' notes:
Lyney is known for constantly 'wearing a mask' around everyone, including his loved ones. Thsi mask is that of an easy going and suave charismatic romantic. But in private he is much more reserved - though even that time is growing to be a lie with mounting pressure from the morally dubious organization. He insists everything is fine but is clearly FUCKED mentally. In game we see him lose his facade once when the lives of his siblings are threatened, causing him to be reckless, loud, and desperate in a heart breaking way. You see him start to slowly break down as he realizes the danger aughhhh. I have clips that I could share from the game if anyone is interested.
Theres a time in game where the lives of him and his closest siblings are threatened by the fact Freminet is hiding a very big secret from the head of the orphanage that would result in them being killed. He is mad but completely dedicates himself to helping Fremi, and tries to hide it form Lynette but that quickie fails lol. Anyway, their attempt fails and the siblings put their lives on the line fir the other orphans and oh boy does Lyney come out out with one foot in the grave after performing a self sacrificing gesture. Sadly they still did lose (they had zero chance of winning and were ready to die) but turns out death was metaphorical and they got ti choose if they wanted to 'die' or keep working for the organization. They ended up staying bc 'death' is having your mind completely wiped.
One more note thats mote of a head canon as a result of what did happen in canon. But Lyney purposely chose an outfit that showed some skin and caught more attention than his sister bc when they were younger, his sister was sold off to a man attending one of their magic shows because she "caught his eye" (human trafficking - this man was caught with multiple female children in his basement) thsi deeply traumatized the siblings, luckily Lynette was saved in time by the head of the orphanage who then took the two in. Lynette is past the trauma now, but Lyney is still deeply affected after chasing his sister down after being told what happened, when he reached her, the head ofnthe orphanage had killed the man and was standing there in his blood. Spooky.
When Lyney is told about flower language and that a 'rainbow rose' symbolizes deep love, he proceeds to commonly use them in magic tricks for the player character. When his sister finds out, she jokingly gets mad at him because she has yet to recive one. This results in him getting embarrassed. He is also shown throughout the game to work really hard for the player character's trust after it was revealed to them that he and his siblings work for the morally dubious organization while the pc was being their lawyer for a murder case (they didn't commit THIS murder atleast)

That's it. The fuckers are going to sit on a small front porch with wind chimes as a strom draws near. Like a proper Midwest family. I need them to have comfort. Cannon be damned, my blorbos WILL share my childhood joys.
