it's that time of year to update my bio👍
I did this with the Procreate 6B Pencil brush at around 60% opacity, and then exagerated some of the shadows with the Soft Brush. It started more greyscale with some yellow highlights but it felt like it was over complicating some of the details so I gave it a sepia vibe instead.
completed piece for a collaborative calender project, mine being for October of 2026.
This was the original concept but I was really struggling with rendering it the way I imaged for some reason. Then I peeped the other person's October for next year and felt they were too similar, luckily the idea for what ended up being the final popped in my head pretty quick so it all worked out.
wow I love that I can like a single post of a certain topic and then tumblr gives me like 50 more but if I like as many Patrochilles posts as I can find I quite literally get jack friggin squat..
tumblr get your shit together..
I think a lot of the shading is wrong for this (like around the nose and stuff) but whenever I changed it I just didn't think it looked as good. My goal was to not let myself get caught up in the details anyway and I think she still looks pretty cool.
Plus I'm not very good at like "super power" effects, so it is what it is rn. Also I think I meant to add more tattoos around her stomache but whatever lol
The Song Of Achilles be like:
"I'm Patroclus, I was not an athletic child, I'm also not an athletic adult. I've got skinny legs. I've got broader shoulders now that I'm older but I never trained for fighting so I'm not super built or anything"
Tumblr artists: proceed to draw him taller than Achilles with abs and absolutely massive biceps
It's amazing what hrt and minoxidil can do for a 50 year old man
commission for my beautiful friend of their DnD character.
I can't remember the last time I did armor and I really enjoyed the challenge. This was a very satisfying project all around and I feel really glad to have been able to bring their character to life!
'steadfast'
feeling a creative streak with these two and more confident in my rendering, so I was able to finally finish this piece. It's definitely amongst my favs in terms of composition.
I still haven't settled on names but I'm settling on symbolism and overarching plot points, it's all subject to change though so I'm not sure how much I want to divulge right now. The only thing I'm sure of is the coastal setting, possibly in the early 1900s.
Stay tuned or nah.. also go read about siphonophores, they're really fuqin cool
old fnaf piece that I realized I never posted on this account for some reason?? think there's a good amount I'd change about this now but I'm still proud of how it turned out, might redraw in the near-ish future maybe🤷🏼
Inspired by Drawfee's magical girl prompt✨️
I honestly don't know what a shoulder length/curly/fine/severe hairstyle looks like and didn't feel like figuring it out lol. I did try having a sort of open front gown but it just wasn't the vibe so here we are.
I looked at a lot of promotional art for Cardcaptor Sakura and Wedding Peach. I tried to get it to have an older vibe but idk if that really came through, still haven't quite figured out the editing for that but I had a lot of fun either way and think she cute as hell.
developing a love/hate relationship with my Hannibal art because I loved doing it and I love how much it's appreciated but I really wish people would look at my other work.. not trying to seem unappreciative but my notifications are always for the same few pieces and it just kind of makes me sigh at this point..

Found these from my old Deviant account and thought it would be fun to do a massive overhaul of these characters. I've been playing a lot of Kingdom Hearts so it's very Square Enix inspired this time around.
Absolutely loving how these redesigns came out. It's also good to be able to see places where I could use some improvement, primarily with perspective and backgrounds, but I also didn't want to get too fixated on specifics that I didn't end up finishing it at all. So I feel pretty good about my process for this one and definitely want to draw these guys again!
all my blorbos for that Sienna trend (idk what it's actually called), the one captioned "We often choose our favorite characters because we see ourselves in them"
It felt really good to commit to and actually finish this, as well as learn how to do an animation jitter, and also how to improve it in the future. I also feel good that I was able to be more encouraging to myself than critical, which is generally pretty hard for me.
go to my instagram to watch the full reel, I worked really hard on it😬👍
(also I don't know who started this challenge, so if anyone does pls comment so I can give them credit!)
some 7 months ago while rewatching Futurama for the millionth time, I saw this portrait that passes the frame for like one second and thought it would be fun to do a fully rendered version of it. I did 90% of it in one sitting and then didn't touch it again until this week but hey at least I finished it.
