Some years back, the host of the community GW2RP wiki transitioned all non-educational wikis to subscription services. This effectively shut down the GW2RP Wiki. While the presence of the wiki has largely been forgotten, and cannot be accessed directly, the guides and information are not completely lost. Snapshots of the site can be viewed through the use of web archives like the way back machine. While a bit outdated the information on the setting can still be useful for beginners and those unfamiliar with the original Guild Wars’ lore. It’s just another little RP resource link to toss in the bookmarks. Maybe someone will find it useful!

A Very Short Fact: On this day in 2001, the Convention on Cybercrime is signed in Budapest, Hungary. It is the first international treaty on crimes committed via the Internet and other computer networks.

“Cybercrime poses new challenges for criminal justice, criminal law, and law enforcement both nationally and internationally. Innovative online criminals generate major headaches for police, prosecutors, and courts. This new terrain incorporates cybercrimes against the person (such as cyberstalking and cyberpornography), and cybercrimes against property (such as hacking, viruses, causing damage to data), cyberfraud, identity theft, and cyberterrorism. Cyberspace provides organized crime with more sophisticated and potentially more secure methods for supporting and developing networks for a range of criminal activities, including drug and arms trafficking, money laundering, and smuggling.”

The longer I work here, the more I think I understand the hosts. It's the human beings that confuse me.

Bernard Lowe (HBO’s Westworld, Episode 7, Season 1)

I do like this quote, especially following the earlier interactions between Bernard and Theresa where he noted unconscious muscle movement and guided her posture to appear less vulnerable. All that depth of reading and he still feels he hasn’t scratched the surface.

This quote was somewhat suppressed by the following big scene, which I won’t spoil for fans who have not seen the episode yet. Although, judging by the other Westworld tumblrs, if you haven’t seen it by now, it has probably been spoiled already.
