Bashing straight people is not supporting lgbt folk. Anyone can bash straight people. All it does is make straight folk less accepting and kind towards lgbt folk. After all why would you want to help people purely for the sake of helping them if those people hate you and want you dead? I know not all lgbt folk aren't like this towards straight people but those who do are really letting lgbt folk down. After rising for decades, There's a reason why lgbt acceptance is now actually going down. X X the lgbt community only has themselves to blame.

Also most straight bashing doesn’t actually hurt straight people. The people most hurt by it are OTHER LGBT PEOPLE, especially straight trans people.

Don’t forget bisexuals. A lot of the biphobia in the LGBT+ community comes from the belief that bis are “half-straight” and, therefore, also privileged.

Also, don’t forget that a lot of the community conveniently forgets no one is perfect and that it often takes time for a family member or friend who is hostile to your being LGBT to come around. That and you have to take any improvement whatsoever at face value; “I can tolerate it but I don’t like it” is a lot better than “I’m going to beat you up and send you to reparative therapy until you come out as straight and/or cis”.

The biphobia thing is so true, especially when the same arguments today are being turned against aces. That enormous petty argument about whether or not aces should be included in the LGBT+ community almost entirely stems from this.

I think rather than try to justify our place in the LGBT+ community by saying 'Straight cis aces aren’t privileged because [reason X],' which reads as an obvious attempt to justify oneself, we should stop just stop agreeing it's okay to bash people who we deem to have too much privilege.

After all, isn’t privilege something we all want to have? Bashing people because they're privileged helps no one, and almost always seems to result in marginalised groups turning on their own.

Ok so, the cloud of smoke over the city is from the burning of Amazon rainforest in Rondonia. Sao Paulo is 3300km (2052 miles) distant from Porto Velho. Athens is closer to London than Sao Paulo is to Porto Velho. Just to give you an idea of the damage they are doing to the forest right now, with the permission from the human trash president. Just so you guys from other countries have an idea of what's happening here in Brazil.

Look they've been burning the forest it's been 15 days now and people have died already in the fires. So the least I hope that the media will actually pay attention to Rondônia and the forest now that's affect São Paulo. The media here in Brazil is trying to take the attention away from the fires saying that what covered SP today as fog because of a cold wave, but many people already said: it's not fog, it's smoke. And if you're shocked about São Paulo sky, this is Rondônia where they are burning the forest:

So yeah, they are destroying the biggest ecosystem that is the Amazon right now. And the world must know.
