which dragon books have you read?

Hello!

Not many, really.

I've read the entire Inheritance cycle and I'm currently waiting for the next book of the Murtagh saga that Paolini (the Author) is expanding on.

I've read "The Ice dragon" by J. R. Martin and "The Last Dragonslayer" by Jasper Fford.

I have that "Official Guide to Dragons" by Ernest Drake big book -that one with the cardboard models of dragons you can assemble- as well as "The Dragon Dance" always by Ernest Drake.

So, as I said, not many. I am extremely picky with books and with dragon books even more. I tend to avoid media where the dragons are the villains and so slain or treated like war beasts in general (like GoT and HotD).

If you want to know more titles with dragons, I strongly advise looking up at Isvoc's books highlights on instagram. She shares the pile of books she reads yearly and I can assure you she is an avid reader with a preference for dragon books, and also one of my favourite dragon artists in the world😍

How is making sticker sheets so difficult??!?!

All I want is to figure out the right dimension of the characters on the available space so I can start working on the actual art, but all the criteria that needs to be met are being difficult!!

I'll figure it out tho. I WANT to make the chibi Dragon TFC stickers a reality! 😤

General update:

Fanfics:

- Pierrot’s turn on getting a horn massage is almost done. Need to finish writing a small piece and make art of the horns and then it will be out. I hoped to make it in time for his b-day, but my personal life had other plans...

- I want to also make art of Jester's horns to include in "Hands against headache", but that is only if I can manage to do it.

- The fanfic where we hang out with Monster Harlequin is done, but the arts are not and I want to make more than one. Also, I have an extra spicy part planned for it that is far from done, but I'm (sporadically) working on it.

Keychains:

I'm still figuring out a design for Jester that would please me, so for now the keychains are not being ordered. I also am having a plethora of problems irl speaking, so the time I can put into drawing is being sacrificed to recharge myself.

I plan to order them and when I will I'll make a post about it, I just need to fix my irl life first.

ART:

As I said before, lately I am sacrificing my drawing time to recharge myself, BUT I have some sketches I have already done and a little watercolor something that I will posting for Harlequin's b-day (26th May).

If someone requests TFC dragon sketches in my ask box, I can provide some, tho. I always have time for a quick scalied bean 👀✨️

I just finished reading your fic A scaled mess and I just adore it!! The cuteness of Pierrot and Harlequin trying to get Y/N attention, doctor being a inquisitive little bird dragon about everything, and just the development between Jester and Y/N, with him learning to trust them, I just adore it so much!

I did have a question?

Will you be doing more fics about Y/N with the Circus crew?

Also if you are gonna do more with them as dragons interacting with Y/N?

Or maybe a situation where Y/N Accidentally gets affected by one of doctor’s experiment?

To answer your questions:

- Yes I plan to write more about Y/N and the Circus crew. I hope you like Harlequin because there is/will be A LOT of him in my writing. He's my fave and I want to scratch his chin just as much as I want to hit him with a chair💚

- Yes*, with an * because I have a draft for a short story about TT being the dragon this time, but I am having a lot of difficulties in making it as coherent as the main fic. I want it to be just as credible and in context and in character.

- No, I don't think I will write anything with Y/N getting affected by Doctor's experiments. At least not the turning-dragon one (I think I have replied to a similar comment under the last chapter of A Scalied Mess going in deep details as in why I won't, if you are curious about it).

I honestly write when I feel inspired, so it is possible, as the Visual Novel goes on, that I could retrace my steps and pluck one of those ideas from the shelf to expand it further.
