     ”W-what… no no, nothing wrong with that, Juvia was just… n-never mind.” Her cheeks were still hot red despite Natsu’s attempt in clarifying what his statement to her had meant. In fact, her stuttering just aided in the fact that she was indeed flushed by his words. She hung her head down as he stretched out, a moment of awkward silence ensuing in between the two.

     The cold stillness was only broken when the dragon slayer had suddenly exclaimed loudly as the waiter placed their platter onto the table. Her eyes widened on sight; it wasn’t the usual size. The plate was probably double the size of the regular single-serving plate, and it held double the food as well. She saw absolutely no problem to share this with Natsu! “Yes, definitely! Juvia doesn’t mind at all! It’s almost impossible to finish this off alone…” Picking up her napkin she laid it across her lap and then reached for her fork and knife before she remembered something.

     ”Oh!” The bluenette abruptly leaned forward, picking up Natsu’s fork and knife and placing them in his grasp. “Eating with Juvia means that Natsu-san needs to follow table manners.” The girl knew oh-so-well about the boy’s eating habits, having him demonstrating it so often in the guild hall. “Okay?”

Her answer given without any hesitation the dragon slayer quickly wiped a slight trail of drool dripping from his mouth. "Then it's set! We're going to share," his tongue licking his lips. This would be the first time he would share food with Juvia and that thought alone excited him. To him it seemed like another form, or sign perhaps of trust. He enjoyed doing new things with all his nakama. 

His eyes following her hand as she edged the fork and knife near him, the fire mage reached his arm out. His fingers softly rubbing against the top of the bluenette's hand. Not taking much notice on the incident his ears picked up her soothing voice asking him a question. "Oi! I'm not that bad! I know when I have to follow uhm... What are they called again? Oh yeah! Manners! I can follow table manners, no problem!"

Everything excited him, his smile spread widely across his face. "This is the first time we've hung out ha? That's kinda weird isn't it? I mean we've known each other for a while now and yet this is the first time. It's weird but awesome!"
