All this talk of possible Kriselle fusion knight had me thinking. That particular outcome just doesn't seem that likely to me. But at the same time...

The Knight happens to look a lot like god of hyperdeath!asriel who was implied to be the fusion between a human and monster soul, not to mention they have combat style similarities. Undertale also describes the fusion as "monstrous" which feels like a pretty apt way to describe the knight.

And we know we (the player) are almost definitely not Kris' original soul. So what if the knight is Dess fused with Kris' actual soul?

Finding out about these notes Asgore wrote really supports my suspicion that Dess visited (or even made) dark worlds with Kris and Asriel, or at the very least that Castle Town and Cyber World existed for years before the current story (and somehow went dormant/disappeared when Dess did).

Kris going on dark world adventures with the two of them when all three were younger just feels like it fits into the narrative, somehow.

We as they player just don't know because Kris can't/won't speak to us, Asriel isn't around to mention it, and Dess is Lost.

Meanwhile Ralsei seems shocked to learn all this, so he was probably "made" after these events (or kept in a separate dark world?)
