I haven't finished the series yet, but i think it's fun, how the players' relationships switch up between episodes.

Jei & Frisk were best friends in their first life. and in the medieval episode, it's Frisk's death which causes Jei to rebel.

And in the second medieval world, they're total strangers. their one interaction is emphasizing that they're not friends. Jei dies and Frisk survives, but why would they care? Simply back to the status quo.

In the ice world they were siblings, relentlessly arguing over which of them would get to sacrifice themself for the other. Frisk dies getting Jei off the planet, so that he'll have a chance to live.

In the desert they're enemies, they try to kill each other. Frisk is the reason Jei leaves the planet, but it's not out of any sort of affection. They want him gone so they'll get to protect what they truly care about.

I don't know if it's time travel shenanigans or parallel worlds or something else. Are there different versions of the same character? Will ice world Jei meet desert planet Frisk? Or will all versions of a character collage into one - friendstrangerenemiesibling?

I'm looking forwards do it.

actually stunned by how much of an unrepentant and shameless shithead warmonger Commander Apollo gets to be onscreen. this guy sucks so bad. if you locked him, vOwen, and wp!Bormetheus in a room and then gave us a gun with three bullets i genuinely think we'd give Commander Apollo the three-tap once in the head twice in the heart treatment just to make damn sure the fucker was dead on the spot.
