Okay I posted a little soul eater au hasemura on TikTok so heres all my pairings and rants about them…

Okay, I immediately knew I wanted Toshi to be the meister and Ken to be the weapon, no questions about that. The hard part was picking what weapon Ken was for some reason.
At first, I thought I was gonna make them crime scene cleaners so I was like “okay whats a weapon that makes sense for that.” I was thinking of mops, brooms, like maybe a stupid industrial sized spray or smth. But it all felt soooo wrong. Then I had the idea to make them detectives instead.
Idk why i was so stuck on making Ken themed to their job, but I kept looking for like “detective weapons.” I looked a lot of different weapons and almost went with those silly daggers that are like hidden as a cane. But i thought “No, Toshi would HATE that.” So I was like okay, Hiroaki called him basic, so lets go with a basic ass weapon. For some reason this was also a struggle. Until it hit me like a bus. Oh my god, a SWORD. It was right infront of my eyes the whole time bro. He killed Hayashi with a sword, duh. So I went with that.
In the au they’re detectives. I think Toshi wouldn’t be able to fight much because of his medical conditions, and Toshi wouldn’t like the idea of being useless. So, Death gave them a kinda special job, detectives for the school. They look into any weird things cases that might need a bit more attention to detail than just the students. Honestly I think Kamimuras knowledge of crime and forensics + Ken intense knowledge of a ton of shit would be a deadly combination when it comes to investigating.
The rest will probably be shorter LMAO
I debated this pairing for a while, cause obviously they’re not a healthy pairing, but I ultimately went with it. I have Yanagi as the weapon, Sasaki as the meister.
I think I wanna keep them as kinda unhealthy but not to the extent of tetro, since they’re definitely not in as much of a stressful situation. I just think they’re kinda overbearing to each other in their own ways. There’s definitely a lot of frustration between them, but they end up working together well when it comes to fighting.
They probably would have their own mini arc about fixing their relationship, at least a little bit. It would definitely be pushed mostly by Hiroaki and Hayashi.
Yanagi’s weapon is two knuckle blades, shaped like an ice skate blade, cause thats silly
This one was so easy dude. Pairing for Okazaki? Literally only Watari would work. Weapon? Obviously flame thrower.
I think for a while theyre silly, they have good dynamic, a lot of people think Okazaki’s weird but Watari doesn’t mind. Until she’s given a reason to mind.
One day in a scenario i haven’t thought about yet Okazaki attempt to kill Toshi and Tsunk blah blah blah basically trial 3 but they don’t die and Okazaki goes on the run. This probably kicks off Kens emo chapter 5 arc. On top if that, watari gets hella depressed. I mean, her besfriend and meister turned out to be evil and shit. And a few months later she disappears into thin air.
I don’t have anything else for their storyline yet….
