Dragonvale App problems!

The app keeps crashing on me! I can barely get past the loading screen, much less collect profits! :(

is anyone else having similar problems or know how to fix it?

ATTENTION ALL WHOVIANS WHO ALSO LIKE DRAGONS AND/OR CUTE, FUN GAMES!

So I’m sure it’s been posted on Tumblr before somewhere but when I read the description of the new ‘Corundum Crystal’ decoration on DragonVale today, I knew I wanted to make this post.

Check out those screen shots of DragonVale and see if you can spot anything fun in the descriptions… YES! Doctor Who references!

Ami’Lya Pond: “Located in a remote part of the Verulean Highlands, there lies a body of water which our wizards tell us should attract water dragons, and yet the creatures seem to avoid it. Tradition holds that they are leaving it vacant for the lady Ami’Lya who will appear at this pond and call forth a great leader in time of need, though no one is sure who.”

Clover Cottage: “These cottages may look small from the outside, but somehow the inside of them is larger than any other building that you will ever see! It’s not known how the builders managed to do this, but our wizards assure us that they are almost definitely 99% certain that we are not being transported to another dimension inside.”

Okay, the one that inspired the post is next but I’m not 100% sure that it’s even a Who reference - what do you think?

Corundum Crystal: “Corundum crystals are shards of what was once a large magical monument built by an ancient and unknown culture. In an effort to determine its true purpose, a group of wizards attempted to activate the structure with a spell. The spell caused it to shatter with a massive explosion of energy, creating the Scar of the World in the process. These flawless crystals are all that remain of the monument.”

Sounds like a possible reference to the crack in Amy’s wall/the fabric of time and space?!!!

I loved this game before they’d even added the Doctor Who references but the crossover just adds another layer of awesome, hehe.

New Gemstone Dragon!

The Pearl Dragon is out and the Ruby Dragon is in!

Available for the month of July, you can breed one with a Scorch and Chrome Dragon or buy it for 1,525 gems! 

It takes 31 hours to breed and incubate and sells for 1,500,000 coins.

What is the best way to breed to obtain the Rainbow Dragon?

The only true criteria for a rainbow dragon is that you have 4 different elements present! I recommend poison/snow, the breeding times for all possibilities are fairly low, less than 8 hours, and you have the possibility of getting a firework, blazing or evergreen dragon! They sell pretty well, too, if you get something you don't want. 

Anyone else have some good suggestions?

What is the firework dragon? How do I breed it?

The firework dragon is a brand new limited dragon! You can breed it by using a fire dragon and an air dragon and it takes 6 hours to breed.

This can also result in a blazing dragon, which isn't so bad, either! (Those sell for 1,000,000 if you don't need it)
