"I'm just in it for the money 🙄"
Not all romantic relationships have to look the same or follow the same path. You're allowed to prefer flings, you're allowed to have casual romantic partners to do romantic things with, you're allowed to stay living apart, you're allowed to have multiple romantic partners. You're allowed to do things however you and romantic partner(s) want to.
I'm aroace so like I'm fruity the way tomatoes are fruits
For all my aro and aspec buddies:
Here's the link to my no romo playlist, in case you feel like listening to songs that have nothing to do with (or at least dont remind me of) romance, sex, or any of that shit
Happy valentines day lmao

What is the Difference Between Sex-Positive and Sex-Favorable?
While these two phrases are used interchangeably, especially when referring to asexuals, they are not synonymous with each other and each have their own definition and culture behind them.
According to Oxford Language, the definition of sex-positive is “having or promoting an open, tolerant, or progressive attitude toward sex and sexuality”. Sex-positivity seeks to reduce the stigma topics surrounding human sexuality, health, and pleasure. Sex-positive regards all consensual activities as something fundamentally healthy and pleasurable. The term became popular in the 1990s as a more palatable term for the sex liberation movement. Sex-positivity removes the taboo from the topic of sex.
Sex-positivity includes things like engaging in fantasies, communication your sexual needs, advocating for your own sexual health, not judging others for their own consensual sexual practices, advocating for comprehensive sex education, experimentation etc.
Sex-favorable on the other hand is defined by the LGBTQIA+ Wiki as “a sex stance that describes an individual who is favorable towards or enjoys the act or concept of sexual interaction”. People who are sex-favorable may enjoy sexual content, enjoy sex, and seek our sexual relationships whether that be to enhance romantic relationships or for other reasons.
Someone may feel favorable towards certain sexual acts and feel indifferent to repulsed towards others. The term sex-ambivalent may be used to describe this.
Sex-positive is described as more of a political position and your position on sex in a broader context whereas sex-favorable is more of a personal stance and your personal feelings about sex.
You can be sex-positive and not sex favorable. For instance, I would say I lean more towards sex-neutral (my overall position on sex in a broad context), but I am also sex-ambivalent (how I personally feel towards the act or the concept of sexual interaction). You can read this post for more about sex-ambivalence and my explanation of it based off my experience.
Additionally, these labels aren’t just limited to asexual or aromantic people. People can be sex-positive, sex-favorable, whatever regardless of their preferences.
I’d like to close with saying that I know these terms can be a bit confusing and complicated. You may mix them up, but I hope this helps clear up the issue for everybody and helps to clarify exactly what both of these terms mean.

I think we need more aromantic/not romantic-centered tropes on fanfiction, like imagine:
Lovers to "wait I think we're actually aro" to Friends
Enemies to Qpps
"Love Triangle" but is platonic and the two rivals want to be the protag BEST friend
"There was only one bed" and all that night they had deep conversations and laugh and at the end they end up having alterous feelings for each other
ace/aro people deserve to be able to make jokes about their orientations. ace people deserve to be able to joke about “why have sex when you can XYZ.” aro people deserve to be able to joke about “romantic attraction sounds like an anxiety attack.” ace/aro people deserve to be able to express their identities and lives through jokes and puns. as long as no one is being hateful (which is something everyone needs to watch for on all jokes anyway??), we are allowed to express ourselves. we are allowed to talk about our own lack of interest in something, which does not put any pressure on anyone else for having that interest.
we are allowed. it’s not cringey. it’s not homophobic. it’s our sexuality, our orientation, our space, our jokes. and we deserve the space to express that.
EVERY demigirl is worthy of love, respect, and acceptance ✨✨✨
Asexual Representation Impact
I gave a presentation about my story at the local PFLAG. When I talked about Sun and Fen cuddling in bed and sharing puns with each other, he perked up. It was his first experience hearing about asexuality. After reading the passage, he said that he looked up the definition of asexual. He was so excited to hear about it.
Representation matters. No matter how small it seems.
