HAI EVERYONE :33 My alias is Ryuu (Ry is fine too), I don't really mind what pronouns y'all use 🤷 pronouns of the day will be mentioned, gender is still a construct :3 <edited> This blog is mainly so I can practice my (apparently) non existent internet social skills (or so people tell me, I don't see it tbh 🤷) I'm in a ton of fandoms, and open to being in a bunch more :3 I'm a chronic sleep-deprived teen and my blogs mood can go from 6ft in the sky to 6ft under REALLY QUICK. DO NOT COME FOR ME!! otherwise- I'm a Slytherin/Ravenclaw. i cant decide cause I've gotten both equally :3 3️⃣DC - mainly the batfam. i am a found-family slave. sue me. I have not read any of the official comics except for the webtoon(aka the batfamily one cause i love them SO MUCH) so posts i make about them will probably be fanon. I KNOW ITS NOT CANON COMPLIANT!! but otherwise, any bits of info from canon are welcome just don't be an ass about it 🫶 ALSO I like and listen to kpop, so you will see some yapping about that. I'm mostly a stay (Stray kids fan, LOWK CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY THEIR MUSIC IS REALLY GOOD AND VERY DIVERSE) but i do love a lot of other groups too. Please keep the whole 'oH KpOp Is sO CrInGe' bs infinite feet away from me, thank you very much, i do not have the patience for that :3 If you dont like or dont approve of anything i post, kindly save both my time and yours and see yourself out 🚪⬅️ instead of hating or complaining or whatever. Lilium didn’t know how he got here.

Correction, he knew how he got here. What he didn’t know was why it dragged on for this long.

He didn’t intend to wander so far from camp, but he did. And so here he was, perched on a tree to escape a dog that had chased him for far longer than he’d like.

Sometimes the prince of flowers wished he had the ability to understand all animals instead of insects and birds. Maybe then he’d ask all the dogs in the world why they hated him so much.

Lilium clutched the branch he was on, watching as the dog below growled at him.

“BARK BARK BARK!”

“You’re so cute looking.. Why do you hate me so much?” He asked dejectedly, knowing he won’t get an answer back. No, he was not pouting. You’re delusional. Hallucinating, even.

Nova had come into the forest to practice with their staff a bit. It had been a few days since they got to camp, they didn't really have much to do and figured they should at least practice so they didn't get rusty.

They were in a clearing stretching and doing some flexibility exercises when the sound of the dogs barking and Liliums speaking reached them.

Nova silently moved to the noise and spotted Lilium on the tree and the barking dog underneath, sighing in relief a bit when they saw that it wasn't something serious.

They crept behind the dog, taking a quiet breath before willing the image of Lilium in the tree to disappear from the dogs view, hoping to calm it down before approaching. (Nova doesn't know how to properly use/manipulate the mist yet, but before whenever they had to they could do this one thing to make themselves disappear, that's what they are doing right now. also - hi :3)

The dog paused in its barking, staring up at the tree when the object of its ire faded from view.

Having not yet noticed Nova’s presence, Lilium stared at the dog, wings ruffling behind him in confusion. It.. stopped?

Then, the dog turned its head, looking around. It sniffed the air, before returning back to its barking. Ah, nevermind..

"Shit" Nova thought, "fuck ok, think... if it can focus on where its prey is by the smell all I have to do...is change its focus point" Nova figured since they were a child of the magic goddess surely they should be able to do something even if they hadn't learnt anything specifically yet.

They crouched on the floor and put their hands on the ground Infront of them, closing their eyes and trying to make it seem like Liliums scent (which was clearly aggravating the dog) was coming from everywhere instead of from a single point so they could confuse the dog.

In turn, the dog turned its head away from Lilium. Confused by the change in scent, it sniffed the air again, barking as it ran off to where it perceived Lilium to be.

Upon seeing this, Lilium sighed, slumping in relief against the branch he was on.

“Goodness..” he mumbled in ancient Greek, followed by reciting a small prayer of gratitude before he could stop himself.

A small habit of his, one that’s gotten him strange looks from others for reasons he didn’t understand. Oh well, not like there was anyone here.

Nova tilted their head curiously from where they were crouched, though they could automatically understand the other demigod's words they were also able to recognize that it wasnt english.

However they didnt really have time to think about that right now, 'Oh no, another new person to talk to' Nova thought helplessly before gathering themself and stepping forward calling out softly and uncertain, "Hello? um..are you alright?"

Lilium yelped at the voice, almost tumbling down had he not immediately dug his nails into the bark.

His wings fluttered behind him in attempt to assist in regaining balance, which only helped a little.

He looked over in surprise.

“I–Hello?!” he blurted out, brain still catching up.

Nova winced at Liliums almost-fall, "Shit, sorry i didnt mean to startle you" they said hurriedly

"I uh noticed like the dog chasing you and stuff, um it..didnt hurt you or anything right?" they asked nervously

“No, no, please don’t apologize,” Lilium shook his head, adjusting himself to distract himself from his own embarrassment.

“No, the dog didn’t hurt me. And you saw all of that? I’m sorry you had to see that. I don’t mean to interrupt whatever you were doing.”

"oh no no, its alright, i wasnt doing anything too important" Nova waved off, walking closer so that they were directly below the tree the other demigod was on. "Um would you like some help getting down?" they offered hesitantly.
