There's 930 words, but it also includes phrases and some suffixes and prefixes in there. Differing from the one I was originally working on, it lists different forms of adjectives and comparative words (and most adjectives are inherently comparative in Dathzhad) but no conjugations for verbs in most cases, unless the meanings are specifically relevant. There's like a dozen forms for every verb, not including compounds and other types of word formations, so it took up way too much space for the purposes of this list.

Dragorean homework: Temporal coding, pronouns, possessives, and the rise of the Dragorean alphabet
I figured out there's in-universe a "Dragorean Alphabet" I needed to invent an entire subplot to account for, but it's less of a monstrosity than the Dragorean Diacritics Set. I figure, by the 2100s OE when Akthorian makes the thing, he's got way more letters to choose from and doesn't care about the historicity, but the "Dragorean alphabet" is meant to be used on in-universe signs dating from the 1950s, so it really only can have letters that both make sense for Inglenook to have access to and would be available in the real-world during the 1950s era.
Of course, Cyrillic letters (as are present in the Dragorean Diacritics Set) have been in existence for much longer than since the 1950s, but I had created the concept of the Boraxans to account for it and that never fully jived with me, so now I'm accounting for it with the World of Dragorea — a new Commonwealth of the Hearth realm founded north of the Kingdom of Inglenook as a joint venture between King Benedict and the dragonborn people of the Kholedzar — which comes with it a new, "Dragorean alphabet" based partially on their pre-existing Mezhon runes, and on the Regatrian/Latin letters already beginning to be used by the Kholedzar to communicate with the Ingles to their southern regions, and on letters that might reasonably have begun existing by the 50s, so I can just justify its existence and work it into plotlines a lot better, I suppose.
Also in this post: conjugating different sentences based on factors like "what noun is joined by others of its kind, and in what time" using the modifying terms like wuk and wuktu, as well as nink and ninkti, new pronouns featuring the possessive clitics -ni and -nisi, and...well, I guess that's it for this one, really.

I have no idea what to do about the Dathzhad word for guilt.
Should dragons feel guilty? Should Zhumago (or al-Zhumago-mo) feel bad for conquering Arishoth? Or al-Eirimë-mo for dying in southern Inglenook and altering their swamps forever with the creation of Eirimë's Cradle (al-Badom-wisa di-al-Eirimë-mo)?
Is it a sin in their souls? Can I reuse the word for "to rot", thas, for it? Maybe for them, guilt is a metaphorical rot: a sickness to be cured, a mold to cleanse off the walls. Maybe it's mildew on the wooden boards of a ship that went untreated and ends up sinking beneath the tides at night. Maybe they have no concept of "emotional" words; they have fafi, "to fear", but not yet a word for "to feel proud" or "pride" or "arrogance" and not yet a word for "guilt" or "shame" or "self-loathing" or disgust; no words to confess or admit to anything they've ever done in their time across the stars.
What kind of culture is it which can't even confess the ways they've wronged the world that never asked for them to exist alongside it in the first place, and was just there when the dragons left the seas and explored the planets to begin with?
— With the exception of the two untranslated words (as of this post, since I don't have workable equivalents of them in Dathzhad at this time), the Dragorean here is accurate as of 4/29/2026. Including recent updates to the tense system, modalities, and prefixes which verbally mark whether a word is a noun or a verb (with no distinction between noun and proper noun, as proper nouns take on the -mo suffix, but only if they're a living and sapient being).
In any case, this is what I have so far for Walter White's opening pilot speech, recorded on camcorder, from the first episode of Breaking Bad, as part of my project to create a dragon-centric adaptation of the show in both full-Dragorean and dragon-centric theming — called Yo-Thasako Suvaso (and formerly known as Thasan Suvaso, before the current updates to the tense and part-of-speech marking systems) — which replaces all characters with dragons and adjusting worldbuilding elements and dialogue necessities as necessary to translate the story to the culture of the dragons of the Chasm of Stars.
Dragorean is really starting to feel like a language after recent updates, rather than just "saying stuff in a funny way". I have few conjugations as well as, um, verbal modalities? Or something. Different prefixes added to verbs to get them to mean different stuff. Plus some random linguistic quirks unique to Dragorean: every noun is prefaced with the prefix al- and every verb is prefaced with either yo-, yota-, or yotai- depending on tense.
That combined with shifting na nima toward nah-nima and similar little fixes, including the adjustments to the tense system, make it feel like it's developing its own accent that's really been bringing it closer to my original goal of having it feel and sound like it's being whispered in the dark by ancient beings. Also, including more quasi-Arabic and semi-Japanese influences really seems to be doing the trick for me. I thought I wanted Dathzhad to be mostly Turkic- and Germanic-based, but Dragorean culture is ultimately way more like Arabic and Japanese culture, so the linguistic influences really seal the deal here for me.
I'm amazed how much little things can do for it. I didn't think "a system where specific types of parts of speech are actually verbally accounted for every time a word in that part of speech is spoken" would make much of a difference, but I read back the bits of Breaking Bad dialogue I translated with this new system and it really does just sound like Dragorean now, and not just a bunch of random weird sounds I'm just pretending are a different language.
Dragorean homework: conjugating tenses, random new word additions, figuring out the complexities of inflecting not just for tense but also modes (I refuse to call them moods because it makes no sense to me) and potentially active vs passive voice, and putting it all together. + More Breaking Bad translation stuff.

Patora is a Dragorean word for "Earth", referring to a fictional planet known to media in the 2112th Rhapsody from other Rhapsodies such as 423. While it is also known by its English name, the Inglish (who reject their alternate variants) primarily know it via the Dragorean translations and adaptations, as they took well to Earth media and commonly adapted it into Dragorean language.
Breaking Bad is known to Inglishfolk as Azoan Sovaso, or
Thas Suvaso, or To Rot Inward, starring a Patoran named Derkon Wafala and his family in the city of Wafala Eygolap, Yothoth Lesimapatorkor, on Patora.
Dragorean homework: random sentences and conjugation practice
All of these use the newer conjugation system from a few months ago which includes tenses for things like theoretical past, present, and future, as well as participles for each.
Also, the transliterations for na nima is updated to nah-nima and alinth and ith to alynth and yth, to accord more heavily with what I'm developing as "the Dragorean" accent; this language seems to be taking on a quasi-Arabic bent, and I'd like the transliteration to imply that sort of accent, because it feels appropriate for dragons, and because I've always been using an American accent but it needs to have its own thing, you know?

Apparently this is a trend on Reddit — you take a picture or painting and highlight over it words for things in your language, and preferably your language's writing system if possible — so I did one. Well, a couple.
Here's the words for some random stuff in English-written Dragorean, Mezhon runes, and what the words actually mean when translated.
By the way, I have no idea what y'all are doing on here for Lexember this year but I think I should look into it. I've been mostly on r/conlang, and their Lexember has a prompt about different types of materials like stone and animal fibers each day and you're supposed to put words from your language (or develop them) that fit the idea, but I'm not feeling it for Dragorean — Dathzhad is a language of artistic self-expression, rather than personal functionality, so there's rarely a need to refer to specific types of plant-based materials or animal fiber or whatever — and it seems like that's not the prompts being followed that I see in the #conlang tag here on Tumblr, so I guess I might have to do some belated research on that.
I've been away from the blog. The accidental deletion, plus personal matters, plus getting Solemn Graces: The Series written have pulled me away from it. There's so many cool Lexember posts in the tag, though, so it's fun to see at the very least! Maybe by next year, I'll have some of my other concepts like Belovoltian or Takuna Kupa developed enough to work through something like that; Dragorean is what it is, so it's harder to treat it as a scientific matter for prompt-based study, because most of the work I've been doing in it in the previous few weeks is random, on-the-spot word creation (like teyjar, "a type of juice, often disgusting, that leaks from something such as a bag of trash or a rotting corpse"), rather than prompt-based stuff, because that's better for the spirit of Dathzhad overall.
Other languages in the universe, though, are more for actual conlang purposes and exploring specific phonological or cultural concepts, so I could see actively relying on or needing a prompt-based exercise to help with those ones. I guess we'll see.
I came up with one of these and needed an excuse to put some other recent phrases into a post, so here it is. Swearing/oathsome phrases in Dragorean.
Shen to-patraq — "God of-waste". This was just inspired by the connection between the name of the Earth concept Beelzebub and the term "lord of the flies". It wasn't intended as a swear, but as I thought about it, it seemed like a useful phrase.
I don't really use the word patraq very often; it was supposed to refer to trash and things you throw away, but it has a very oathsome feeling to it, like something you'd invoke when you're pissed off about something. So, I figured, why not — it means "waste"; it refers to waste, to things you don't need, something you're pissed off at and want removed from your life.
"Shen to-patraq!" you would say, possibly while tossing something around or slapping the side of a CRT monitor.
Less evocative, but a crucial phrase I'd like to bring up in narration, the term oko herami. Oko herami literally means "gross message", and the idea was that, for dragons, it originally referred to overly disgusting or unwanted letters being sent across the cosmos and can be adopted by other cultures with more technological ways of sending messages to refer to the same thing. Less of a loan-word and more of a loan-concept? I see complaints about these types of messages online all the time, so it seemed sort of culturally relevant and a bit of a fun touch if I incorporated a way for my characters to sometimes talk about an oko herami they received, and incorporate knowledge of Dragorean culture and phraseology along the way.
Finally, mehdan sar. Kind of a random one. This one, I just made intentionally as a swear; I'm sure I can do better. It means "met fight", and seems like it'd be a bit of a uniquely-Dragorean concept about how a conflict is a fight you would meet face-first and head-on, as though you're more than willing to do so.
"Mehdan sar," you would say, as you swipe the blood from your lips and get back into a brawl with a fellow dragon.

It's not even that important, just a few short phrases serving as an ode to the Dragorean word for coffee, fej, and it was supposed to go up on here as a Dragorean Homework post. Tumblr headquarters had a bit of a fluffle and my main account vanished for a while, but we got it fixed (it was an accident!). In the meantime, however, I took this post over to Reddit, and you've ended up with a rare IPA iteration of Dragorean, plus a few other versions (and an actual translation), under the cut.
Also, your boy registered for the SATs and might become an archaeologist just for fun? Studying fictional characters only goes so far. I had other stuff to blog about when I went to post this last weekend, but the whole Tumblr thing totally threw me off and so much else happened (I did not have a panic attack while finishing up a story for publication, but I did finish up a story and freak out a little bit over it) anyway that it barely seems relevant in favor of this new development.

Coffee be(actively, in the process of) oneness-a of-(nourishing food). (Nourishing food) can(generally) be(actively, in the process of) food(generally). (Nourishing food) can(generally) at-side be(actively, in the process of) mouth-swallow at-side that at-some-time-(pluralization marker). In any occurring, coffee be(actively, in the process of) some-object which be(actively, in the process of) consumed at-side many dragon-(pluralization marker), and many person-(pluralization marker) at-side that.
Coffee feels(actively, in the process of) caring and good in mouth-the when dragon-a consume(actively, in the process of) it(objective form).
Coffee be(actively, in the process of) good.
Dragon-(pluralization marker) mouth-swallow coffee in many occuring-(pluralization marker) and time(ongoing sense)-(pluralization marker).
More generally, applying interpretation to it:
Coffee is a type of food (or "nourishment", or "treat", or "breakfast", or "meal", depending; there isn't a word for something which is a dessert but a drink, which coffee realistically sometimes can be, but go figure). Coffee can be food, in general. Coffee can also be liquid-which-you-can-drink (or "a drink", natch), as well, sometimes. In any case, coffee is something which can be consumed by many dragons and many people also.
Coffee feels sweet and good in the mouth when a dragon consumes it.
