simple, dude. high-protein, clean meals featuring steak, chicken and fresh produce to maintain performance and i also avoid alcohol or too much alcohol. what was yours like?

Pretty much the same except I try to exercise or work out for four to six hours a day when it's not a show day, and then when we do have shows, it's eat, work out, then practice the fight. But I'm getting tired of the same old meals. Do you do any of those meal kits, or do you just meal prep yourself?

I think there's an unspoken rule that if you wave at someone and a completely different person waves back, we're all obligated to collectively pretend it never happened and carry on with our lives. So don't be! Plus, I'm sure this person doesn't even remember, if they noticed you at all.

all the time. if it makes you feel any better, most people on the receiving end either don't notice the mistake or forget it almost immediately. the person who remembers it most vividly is usually the person who waved. did you manage to recover, or did you end up standing there contemplating a new identity and a move to another city?

I did recover a little cry and then some time to self-reflect! I finally made it back to where I was going in the first place so that was great!

I ended up leaving the area but I did come back yesterday and had no waving accidents which was a great thing because fuck I wanted my coffee. Even the girls at the counter missed me.

Oh no, that's the most embarrassing! Yes, yes, this has happened and then I laughed because it was so completely awkward and that you just don't know whom is watching or what else you can do. Yes, and I played it cool and played it off as I wasn't waving. Which was a total lie haha.

That’s completely random, but, I feel like this has happened to almost everyone at some point. It is almost unavoidable. How well did you handle it because those types of things can be embarrassing.

I ducked into the nearest shop, cried a little, then went directly back to my hotel room and sat in silence and thought about the horrors of me doing that.

I have. I'm training with Nattie right now. But honestly? They've given...okay, that's not a lie, they haven't given up on me, but I just right now they have no viable storyline for me, frankly. It's lowkey rude to be honest.

I think I just get so flustered with it? I don't normally let these things bother me, but it's just one of those things that sticks in your head. But your very handsome so I can't say I blame you for wanting to wave hello to you. If I were you I'd do it too.

Mate, that has happened to literally everyone, and anyone who says otherwise is either lying to you or has conveniently erased the memory out of self-preservation. There are few humbling experiences quite like confidently waving at someone, getting the wave back, and then realising you're not the person they're waving to at all. You just have to commit at that point, pretend you meant it, keep walking, and never return to that location again.
