Grace was stopped completely when she felt her arm grabbed. “I just want my best friend back…yeah I’m fine,” she lied, voice still shaking. It rolled off her tongue and out of her mouth so easily because she’d had to say it so much in the past. But a slight shake of her head gave all that away.

“You guys catfished me?” Frankie exclaimed to her two friends Lola and Shay. “Crap, we didn’t mean to” they say turning around realizing they’ve been caught.

“Oh, okay, so you just accidentally made a fake account, and then accidentally commented on my picture, and then accidentally had super-long conversations with me?” Frankie half yells.

“You wouldn’t talk to us. We wanted to know what was going on with you.” Shay responds. “You dyed your hair. We thought you might…kill yourself” Lola chimes in making things worse. “That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.” Frankie yells. Her blood boiling at the words flying out there friends mouths. “We were worried about you. We thought you didn’t want to be friends with us anymore.” Shay says.

“Maybe I don’t.” Frankie exclaimed she was so upset she ran off.

-reader POV- “Hey Frankie” you say picking up the phone “y/n?” She asked sniffling singling she was crying. “What’s wrong?” I ask with concern in my voice. “today is going so horrible, I just can’t deal, I just really needed to talk to you. You make everything better, you always do” she says full on crying. “I’m coming to get you! Where are you?” I ask. “School” she breaths out, I can still hear her silently crying. “okay I’ll be there as soon as I can” I say hanging up the phone and jumping in my car.

To save my sanity

“Yeah,” she nodded, trying to keep the shakiness she felt out of her voice but knew that she wouldn’t have too long before the thoughts flooded back more than she wanted them too. “He deserves to know, it’s his kid too.
