sorry everyone, i need to go on another hiatus. I truly enjoy making stuff/writing so hopefully i can come back to this eventually. i'll watch over everyone i've interacted with even if i don't send anything. i'll still answer dms and keep asks saved as drafts for whenever i come back properly.
Event: Setsuka’s party
Through the ‘night’, eventually everyone had returned to their hotel rooms where they were greeted with an invitation from Setsuka to come to a party.
Upon arriving at the location, <Your muse> was greeted with what looked like a movie theater. Decorated with light across the top but any sign that would indicate the name of it seemed to have been glitching out showing very little of what remained of the actual name. Upon walking inside they were greeted with a decent sized ballroom that stretched back pretty far and was decorated with certainly enough chairs and tables to be able to seat everyone. Small chandeliers were spread throughout the venue to keep it mostly lit without hurting eyes. Lining against one of the walls was a small stage elevated, it seemed like it was big enough to fit an entire band on it. There had been some fake trees and plants put around to try and make things a bit more lively. Towards the back there was a longer table leaned against the wall that laid between two doors, one on each side of the venue with quite long corridors.
“You were able to make it! I was surprised at the level of attendance actually, everyone managed to show up…and I mean everyone. Take the time to go mingle. ⁱ ʲᵘˢᵗ ʰᵒᵖᵉ ⁿᵒ ᶠⁱᵍʰᵗˢ ᵉⁿᵈ ᵘᵖ ᵇʳᵉᵃᵏⁱⁿᵍ ᵒᵘᵗ.” She smiled but she was very worried for the potential of a fight being caused just from two people not at least trying to get along.

Wrong AI..? He stared at the other for a moment to observe the face structure better. He still looks like him physically. He crossed his arms to show his affirmation of staying put. “Outside of Otori and Mekaru, my ‘friends’ would no longer recognize me. There’s no way of knowing what they remember either at this rate.” As much as he wanted to, it seemed too out of reach for him to suddenly mingle with his classmates again. “They can’t die here. Not to my knowledge at least… I’m just making sure things don’t go wrong for their recovery.”
“Recognizing or not that doesn’t mean you can’t rebuild the bond you had with them. You don’t have to talk about the past, you can find other subjects.” He huffed and looked to give a motion to Tsurugi to go over. He thought there was always a chance to reconnect. “Their recovery will be fine, i can keep an eye on their vitals for you and let you know if something seems amiss.” He’s still pushing while putting more work on himself.
“If I were to introduce myself with my name, and they know me for my younger self it would feel like I’ve destroyed their perception of me.” That likely would’ve happened either way if he avoided them and they met properly again in the real world at this rate. “That job is meant to be Mitsume’s. Is she pushing work onto you in favor of her daughter?” He didn’t trust Kokoro as much as he didn’t trust Kuro. “If you can get one of them to recognize me without being afraid of how much I’ve changed… I’ll give it a try. Be warned my younger self is also walking about and interacting with the others though.”
“I can’t say that wouldn’t happen… However… That is something unavoidable with when you leave the simulation too. Or are you saying you’re going to try avoiding them forever?” He understood the worry of it all, it could be weird to see Kinjo the way he is now for them but if he shouldn’t keep avoiding them. “She said she wanted to find her daughter. “I wasn’t planning on it forever, I was… simply waiting for the right time.” He sighed with a small shake of his head. “At least with my younger self it’s someone they all know… My body has deteriorated in various ways since then.” There’s a reason he still wears his hat as low as he does after all. “Even if Mitsume wanted to find her daughter, if she’s part of the masterminds behind this whole thing, the least she could do is the job she set out to do in the first place with that tablet of hers…”
“Sure you were. And that is when? When you’re out of the simulation?” He huffed to himself. “Look… I get it, it’s… Not always easy to face old friends when you have suffered damage to your body that can’t be fixed. However… Facing them like that isn’t necessarly a bad thing. They might need some time to adjust but it’s still you by the end of things despite how you look outwardly.” He gave a smug expression at Tsurugi before he shifted to cross his leg. Honestly he find this whole thing a bit ridiculous, of all the things he’s comforting a different version of someone that was his enemy. “Don’t worry about that, i’m sure she’s doing at least a little if nothing else.”
"That is all easier said then done. They may all be up and ready to go with pep in their steps like back then… but they're also still recovering from it. They don't know how much time has passed since the game. If they were to realize it all far too soon…" He was worried it would end up messing with them mentally. After all, his wounds was self inflicted for the most part… theirs, their survival… He let out a sigh. His eyes shifted around the room to search for his classmates in general. "What will it take for you to allow me to return to solitude?"
After leaving the hotel Sora had gone to rest in, Mika decided to wander a bit around, the first person he wanted to try to speak to was Nikei so he went to ho look for the journalist, trying to search for the boy himself.

Luckily Nikei still hasn’t moved from where he was first spotted with Shobai, although he was significantly calmer then before. Upon noticing the other approaching he almost tried to hide himself behind the other. “Ah… He’s around again. Uncle just pretend I’m not here.” He sticks out regardless of hiding though, his hat peeks out from behind Shobai regardless.
“….Kid I know I’m tall but I can’t entirely hide you from everything.” Shobai let out a sigh before looking over at Mika. “Yo, you’re the kids AI aren’t you? I never got to see you myself before getting in so tell me about yourself.”

As the two approached the mall, the building seemed to fit right in with the scenery with some overgrown vines and vegetation around the entrance, the sign confirming it was the building they were looking for had a bit of wilting plants hanging over the tops of it.
She briefly turned to look at the building. "Looks like we've already arrived." She let go of Mikados hand to playfully rush into the building. However when she was hit with the brisk air conditioning inside, it caused her to shiver. A brief regret washed over her face as nudged herself more into the cape before looking at Mikado again. "Perhaps while we're here we can find something you'll like as well."

“Who’s to say the closeness had to stop?” In her eyes, they’ve been pretty close since they’ve met. Only being apart when she had gotten tired but that’s natural isn’t it? “It would be better to stay close when dry if somethings cold as oppose to when covered in water right?” She’s made connections that people get sick when cold… but does that even apply here? She didn’t want to test it. Either way with following the others lead it was easier to get back up to shore. “Well our clothing should be technically dry, so we could just put them back on right?” This was the first time her scars been in full view. At least not bothering her, but she didn’t seem to notice it even being visible. The gashes on her side were definitely caused from Monokuma’s claws… no denying that one.
Mikado snickered and looked amused. “You make a fair pointn let’s stay close~” He hummed to himself, he clearly liked the closeness. “Hmm, they should in theory be fine yes so let’s get them.” He made sure she was safe all the way to the shore and made his way put of the water. “Though they might not stay that way once we get them on.” He looked at the scar and paused in his steps, he looked to feel bad. The gushes were a proof of a lot of things, he tried to not draw attention to them for now and quickly went to get his clothes.
As the two got onto the ground, the water still seemed to have some problems when interacting with physical beings. Their skin returned to being completely try although the same couldn’t be said for hair. Sora’s hair was still near completely soaked. She stepped away from him for a moment to try and wring the water out of her hair and watch it trickle down onto the ground. “My hair is a bit heavy now, perhaps I should’ve put it up prior to jumping in? I’ll have to remember that for next time.” She let out a small huff and moved to put her clothes back on. “Would it be better to put it back up while it’s trying or should I leave it down?”
Mikado looked at her hair dripping, he got his own clothes on but kept his hat off and looked at her. “Well tying it up might make it take longer to dry but drip less. It might be better to let it dry first.” He felt water was dripping from his own hair so he decided to carry the hat with him for now. “Hmm… How curious.” He figured there would be some isdues with the program but he didn’t really think there were glaring issues like water not sticking to skin or the likes.
Sora nodded as she pulled her hair through the back of her clothing, letting out a shiver as the wetness seeped into the back of her shirt a little. At least the water still interacted with objects in that sense, no doubtfully wasn’t a major focus when coding. “I believe I’ve heard when you get wet and become too cold that you could get sick from a… classmate… before. Perhaps it’s a good thing that we’re not as soaked as my hair.” She moved closer to Mikado and offered her hand towards him once more. Even if they were to just walk for a bit it seems shes gotten into the habit of staying close to him when preparing to move somewhere new.
Mikado looked at it and hummed in thought, he guess those kinds of things weren’t something they saw as too important to make accurate for them when creating it. “Well that isn’t wrong, people do often get sick from it, it’s one of the reasons people change clothes after it has rained to avoid getting a cold. Yes i think it’s a good thing in a sense that it’s just one thing. Still feels strange with only the hair being affected.” He smiled at her and held her hand, giving it a soft squeeze.
“It oddly almost reminds me of drying off after a shower, although that might be due to the length of my hair since it takes longer to dry. Who knows, maybe the weather here will help fight off that potential cold anyway.” Part of her wanted to just smile and nod along, but to understand things she had to compare. She smiled back at the other when he squeezed as if it regained her focus. “Any idea where we’ll travel to next?”
“I can imagine so yes, shorter hair has less lenght that needs to dry. Then how about we go somewhere warmer so you can avoid getting sick.” He beamed up in a happy manner, he didn’t want her to catch a cold so it was better to move somewhere they could be warm. “Hmm… I wonder… If the arcade would be cold or if perhaps we could go to a sauna?” He enjoyed playing games but he wasn’t going to risk her health just to go to an arcade so he suggested a sauna where he knew it was hot.
Sauna… That word felt familiar to her. She’s been to one once before but… That involves more water to keep the heat around. “I think I’m done with water for now. I wouldn’t mind the arcade, maybe we can stop at a shop to get a jacket or something to help us keep warm while playing games?” Plus, it would be nice to play together. Who knows, maybe they could find a game she’s surprisingly good at. “I’m sure another layer of clothing could help keep my hair away from physically dripping on me, even if it’s a pull over.” She had the temptation to suggest for them to share the others cape but that wouldn’t quite work the same regardless.
Mikado laughed lightheartly and hummed in response. “Fair enough, the arcade it is then, don’t get too discouraged if i beat you in games~” Confident in his skills he didn’t even try to hide it. “Hmm… well we can look for something like that but while we look…” He took off his cape and stopped briefly to put it under her hair before using the sun clip to get it on. “There you go. It can help at least for awhile. The cape suit you quite well you know~” He thought she could lend it while they looked for something that could handle the water better.
“I’m sure it’ll be fun even if I lose. After all, I’ve never really gotten to play many games before.” New experiences are always something to look forward to. His confidence even made Sora let out a small laugh. “Who knows, maybe we’ll find a game even I’m good at and I’ll be the one to win.” It doesn’t hurt to spark a little rivalry for fun. Her cheeks flushed a little after the cape was put on her. “Ah… Thank you, but are you sure you’re fine with it getting wet?” Surely it’ll take at least a little to dry the dampened spot.
He hummed in thought, well she wouldn’t have much time for such things so he doesn’t find it too odd. “Then i’m sure you will have a lot of fun fufu~” He was excited to let her rry different games, maybe she could find her strong point there too and get a boost of confidence. “Is that so? Well if you aim to beat me you should put your best performances at work.” He giggled, clearly he thinks he has a lot of skills there. “Don’t worry about that, i think it’s more important to keep you from getting sick.” As much as the cape and hat was important to him they wrre still just pieces of clothing that could be dried later, a person’s health comes first.
“Best I can do is give it my all.” Seeing the other this excited about playing games together, she couldn’t help but smile. “I’m sure there’ll be a lot for you to teach me about once we get there.” She reached to hold the others hand as she had done before. “First to a shopping center.” She was happy to have someone who was caring so much for her.
Mikado gave a giggle in turn. “I look forward to it, you’re bound to find something you’re good at.” He was more than happy to let her try several games and it helped him feel like it could help her find something she enjoys too, he chuckled and held her hand. “Right, we should find one not too far away.” He went to lead her towards a shopping center, he should be able to find it.
“Even if I don’t, at least I can give it a try and find something fun to work towards in the future.” She wasn’t holding her breath on the good at part. It would all be new after all. “We seem to find things rather quickly… Do you secretly have a map of this place?” She was mostly joking, but the speed it took for them to actually find a new place was a little suspicious in her eyes.
“Fufu, i’m quite sure you will find something, who knows you might already have a knack for something but weren’t aware.” He hummed and soon sighed a bit at her question. “Something like that. It wouldn’t be too far from the truth.” Should he be keeping his connection to the simulation be a secret? He wasn’t sure.
She tilted her head in confusion for a moment. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. A map in general sounds neat, I’d probably still get lost though.” she let out a small awkward laugh in attempt to ease the other. “That makes you the perfect navigator for times like this.” She enjoyed the travel together regardless of knowing where they were going or not.
Mikado chuckled softly. “A fair point. Though i do want to tell you, i just weren’t sure how to tell it and some things are more fun if there’s a mystery behind it~” He gave a smug expression to Sora “True it does, doesn’t it? How to explain… I’m part of the simulation if that makes sense, i help keep it together.”
She had to take a moment to think, she wasn’t aware of being part of any sort of simulation… but if he’s helping it then that much is a good thing. “Does that mean you’re still able to leave it? I mean, if you’re running it… then you’d have to stay inside while this is going on otherwise there would be problems wouldn’t there?” She wasn’t quite sure how it all worked.
Mikado thought for a moment. “Probably… I might have to stay until the whole thing is over.” He wouldn’t want any issues to occur just because he wanted to leave, it could put others in danger but then again he had to be connected to it outside so maybe. “Well it’s probably best i don’t risk anything for now, you can wait for me if you wish.” This was in case she hot out before the rest did.
"Hmm… If I was able to leave, before you are able to… I'd probably try and find some way to stay in here with you. Who knows how long you'd be waiting… and it would be no fun waiting alone. For either of us." She nodded before continuing. "Besides, I don't exactly… know… what's really out there. I'd like to explore out there again with you." She smiled at him.

“That still sounds like a lot of hard work which I think should always be appreciated in some form or another. Maybe I could treat you to some sort of treat later after the party?” She smiled. “Well my brothers sometimes like to rough house and to escape each other from time to time they use the trees so climbing around them is natural for my youngest brother… I’m not sure why he watches the cityfolk though.”
The more she listened to Kido’s explanation, she raised her hand to hold onto her uniform’s tie. She wasn’t sure what to expect but it certainly wasn’t that. Was she even old enough to know about that? “I’ve never really delt with crimes somehow, at least nothing as severe as that. I was assigned a bodyguard as soon as my movies really started to pop off alongside my Uncle coming with me when he could.”
“You don’t have to. It’s just another of many things that I just do myself cause I can and it’s fun.” Color Kido a bit off guard with the offer. She’s gotten adjacent to three specific people offering or springing up activities on her. She didn’t mind it but, she still avoids on instinct.
As for her brothers, “Sounds like a bunch of dogs or monkeys than boys. Then again, I run around screaming in the woods like I was escaping a hockey masked killer. I can’t be too judgemental.”
“I mean with fans, paparazzi, and other hazards it makes sense. The public eye is a complicated thing. Can’t say anything else. I’ve only been popular in very nitch groups online.”
“If you say so, I won’t force you to go. That just wouldn’t be fair of me. It’s nice to hear it’s something fun for you though.” She wanted to pop up her friendliness but she pushed it down to remain calm while conversing. “Thennn… maybe you can show me how to build something in the future? If you’re alright with that of course.”
“Living in the woods does have its dangers at times with wild animals, even if our placement is generally safe… We still have to put up makeshift traps here and there for our own safety. We tend to set them free after we get them out but it still takes awhile for the animals to calm down to be able to do that.” She shivered for a moment, she remembers when one of her siblings ended up getting kicked in the gut by a deer before.
“I tend not to interact with the public unless I’m going shopping. I’ve had people yell to try and grab my attention here and there and usually dismiss it with a smile and wave. There’s a lot of persistent people out there who always try and grab celebrities attention the moment they’re outside their home.”
“If you’re interested in it I can. It does get a bit dirty depending on how and what you’re doing.” Kido let out a strangled chuckle. It sounded like rattling or gurgling coming from her chest. It could be caused by an infection.
“I understand why. I catch and release unless they show symptoms of illness. A lot of them end up having CWD or rabies and had to end their pain. I put them in my garden once cremated so infection won’t end up spreading. I tend to those who’ll survive for any injuries then let them go. They tend to remember me.” Kido blinked.
“I don’t like when I’m approached so I get some of the experience. If I’m having it really ruff I go into a panic or freeze up, hide, stuff like that. Haven’t done much else if the situations happen. I’ll make note of that in case we cross paths.”
The noise admitting had startled her at first. There’s no way the other wasn’t aware of it right? She smiled back regardless of her concern. “My uncle always says it’s good to dip your hands in other activities to broaden your interests.” A wave of confidence washed over her. “I’m sure it’ll be a good time if we do it together.”
“We’re not able to tend to the sick animals like that unfortunately… If an animal does die in one of our traps, we have to fill the hole to bury it.” She felt a bit guilty admitting it… but it was really the best the group could do for it if things got that bad. They have no ways of actually treating the animals.
“Have you tried using something to hide your face? I mean, where you can see them but they really can’t see you. If it’s anxiety about interacting with others, something like that might help- Ah, sorry for just assuming something like that.”
“He’s correct. It adds character to a person. I learned to make bleeding candles and how to make molds to shape candles into animals, skulls, plants, and other things.”
It’s funny to think she can see clearly, at least. Luckily her eyes were acting like eyes should in theory. It’s her nose who gives her the ability to tell who’s around along with her ears.
Kido’s face softened a little, “Unfortunately nature runs it’s course. Can’t stop it sometimes if it’s preventable. I had my fair share passing or pasted away. Some of course I let down easy as they’d won’t survive much longer. It hurts but you can figure out how to twist it in a good thing, at least in my case I can.”
Kido grew a thin lipped smirk, “You’re okay! I can understand why you’d want to help. It’s more about not knowing them or I get suspicious. Not everyone has good intentions. I do admire your concern.”
"I always heard that Ultimate's were meant to focus on nothing but their talents to remain the best of the best. Hearing you have other things to do for entertainment is awesome! If there's one person you ever want to go on and on to about really anything, my one brother is a journalist. The one who climbs trees, he doesn't have to note stuff if you tell him not to. He always listens to new things with interest, and will try and share your enthusiasm about it." Despite being told to do other things, Emma's general interests have always been more towards 'popular culture' in comparison to the arts and building.
"I just hope the animals don't go hating us too much for having to bury their kin like that. There's been a doe that used to come by with a friend, but that friend ended up dying nearby the house. The doe didn't come back for a good long while and would stare at us before running away all manic when it saw us again." Sometimes she really questioned if animals were capable of 'forgiveness' when she thinks about that moment.
"You're right on that one… Even in the acting industry, there's plenty of people who befriend you just to play underhanded to try and get the part you're going for. I'll never understand the point of attempting to tear each other down like wolves on the hunt."
The day of fate had finally arrived. Peko had hoped that herself and Midori would have been granted additional time to prepare, but she was not afforded such a luxury
Midori seemed actually quite excited about the whole ordeal as she rushed down to open the cell gate. “I believe now is better then ever to set our plan into motion. We have all the guards that have agreed to go waiting for you. As of now, you are the army leader temporarily. Keisuke won’t be able to join us.. but Ryutaro is going to come so the troops will have to listen.” She nodded as she brought the sword forward an handed it over to her friend. “And this, belongs to you.” She deserves to have it back, it would remain a true test for the other after all. She unwrapped her scarf from her neck and went over to wrap it around Peko’s neck with a smile. “There! We’re all set right?”
That certainly is a possibility. Some sicknesses clear up in tropical conditions.
People feign bravery often, usually doing it so the people around them don’t have to worry. They think they’re a burden or coddled too much so they hide the pain, even if it proves to be detrimental to them. I don’t know your sister, so i can’t determine why she does such things but can only speak on what i have observed.
"Your guesses are practically right on the money regardless. I just want her to be able to have at least one day where her sickness could instantly vanish. To be a healthy girl and to have fun like a normal teenager that she is." Honestly he wasn't sure if Midori even had friends that weren't hospital staff… or other sickly people who were still in there for recovery. "Thank you… for letting me speak of her." There was a small sigh of relief. Sometimes people had added additional guilt then what he already carried for the difference in how well he has been in life in comparison to his sister. "From what little we talked, you seem like a person she'd become great friends with."

Nicknames have always been a difficult thing for Akane… She’s usually referred to people with their last name anyways out of polite habit from her work. “My name is pretty short as is, I wouldn’t be sure if there even could be a nickname created from it honestly. I haven’t attempted to find a new name either… Who knew something that should be quite easy would be so difficult.” She let out a soft awkward laughter before taking a moment to think of what to say next. “Hmm… Would possibly splitting your name in half to create two different names substitute in place for a nickname? At least temporarily.” She doubt it would be easy for him to try and reintroduce himself to his creator… while also using the same name… “Even if people do not like you the idea of them having called you harsh names in substitute before… I’d apologize on their behalf but I likely do not know many of them in the first place.”

“I don’t know. I only heard of the project after it all occurred. I didn’t know much about Hinata himself, not to mention he was at least two years ahead of myself in school. Although, Akane and Utsuro… are more then just friends now. They do technically have a family together as well.” She wasn’t too sure how to word that last bit without it sounding weird. The whole situation was messy to think about but one thing was clear the two seemed happy together in her eyes. “Often times, it’s much easier to try and keep hope around in hard times then to let the weight of situations linger over you. I know that first hand…” She was given hope by many when she thought others were going to be dying because of her, and they comforted her all the same.
Mikado looked a bit baffeled, he needed a bit of time to think. “Pardon? Do you mean a romantic relationship?” He was trying to understand what she meant but that didn’t really sound like a healthy bond for those two in his mind. “No that’s not it, right?” He was double checking now to make sure. “Mhm… I never understood that kind of hope, it seems to blind rather than actually help in the situation. As for Hinata… He i believe wasn’t too different from Utsuro, even with people he loved it wasn’t enough. Sometimes the feeling of knowing no matter what you do you get everything you want in the end without even having to work for it and that can ruin every chance of real happiness. With no real sense of growth and accomplishments humans wouldn’t strive for the things they truly want so hard.”
"Indeed they are, from what I remember they at least were generally happy together. They were still inseparable within the simulation… Although it was mostly Akane being the affectionate one." Thinking back to it though, Utsuro wasn't really much for showing his feelings directly anyways. "They took in five children together so they had to of had some sort of strong connection if they all still live together." Not to mention Sora living with them too… She shook off the idea. "I get what you're saying, but perhaps their connection holds stronger then what the power of his luck can do. At least emotionally it seemed to help."
Event: Setsuka’s party
Through the ‘night’, eventually everyone had returned to their hotel rooms where they were greeted with an invitation from Setsuka to come to a party.
Upon arriving at the location, <Your muse> was greeted with what looked like a movie theater. Decorated with light across the top but any sign that would indicate the name of it seemed to have been glitching out showing very little of what remained of the actual name. Upon walking inside they were greeted with a decent sized ballroom that stretched back pretty far and was decorated with certainly enough chairs and tables to be able to seat everyone. Small chandeliers were spread throughout the venue to keep it mostly lit without hurting eyes. Lining against one of the walls was a small stage elevated, it seemed like it was big enough to fit an entire band on it. There had been some fake trees and plants put around to try and make things a bit more lively. Towards the back there was a longer table leaned against the wall that laid between two doors, one on each side of the venue with quite long corridors.
“You were able to make it! I was surprised at the level of attendance actually, everyone managed to show up…and I mean everyone. Take the time to go mingle. ⁱ ʲᵘˢᵗ ʰᵒᵖᵉ ⁿᵒ ᶠⁱᵍʰᵗˢ ᵉⁿᵈ ᵘᵖ ᵇʳᵉᵃᵏⁱⁿᵍ ᵒᵘᵗ.” She smiled but she was very worried for the potential of a fight being caused just from two people not at least trying to get along.

Wrong AI..? He stared at the other for a moment to observe the face structure better. He still looks like him physically. He crossed his arms to show his affirmation of staying put. “Outside of Otori and Mekaru, my ‘friends’ would no longer recognize me. There’s no way of knowing what they remember either at this rate.” As much as he wanted to, it seemed too out of reach for him to suddenly mingle with his classmates again. “They can’t die here. Not to my knowledge at least… I’m just making sure things don’t go wrong for their recovery.”
“Recognizing or not that doesn’t mean you can’t rebuild the bond you had with them. You don’t have to talk about the past, you can find other subjects.” He huffed and looked to give a motion to Tsurugi to go over. He thought there was always a chance to reconnect. “Their recovery will be fine, i can keep an eye on their vitals for you and let you know if something seems amiss.” He’s still pushing while putting more work on himself.
"If I were to introduce myself with my name, and they know me for my younger self it would feel like I've destroyed their perception of me." That likely would've happened either way if he avoided them and they met properly again in the real world at this rate. "That job is meant to be Mitsume's. Is she pushing work onto you in favor of her daughter?" He didn't trust Kokoro as much as he didn't trust Kuro. "If you can get one of them to recognize me without being afraid of how much I've changed… I'll give it a try. Be warned my younger self is also walking about and interacting with the others though."
After leaving the hotel Sora had gone to rest in, Mika decided to wander a bit around, the first person he wanted to try to speak to was Nikei so he went to ho look for the journalist, trying to search for the boy himself.

Luckily Nikei still hasn’t moved from where he was first spotted with Shobai, although he was significantly calmer then before. Upon noticing the other approaching he almost tried to hide himself behind the other. “Ah… He’s around again. Uncle just pretend I’m not here.” He sticks out regardless of hiding though, his hat peeks out from behind Shobai regardless.
“….Kid I know I’m tall but I can’t entirely hide you from everything.” Shobai let out a sigh before looking over at Mika. “Yo, you’re the kids AI aren’t you? I never got to see you myself before getting in so tell me about yourself.”

“Who’s to say the closeness had to stop?” In her eyes, they’ve been pretty close since they’ve met. Only being apart when she had gotten tired but that’s natural isn’t it? “It would be better to stay close when dry if somethings cold as oppose to when covered in water right?” She’s made connections that people get sick when cold… but does that even apply here? She didn’t want to test it. Either way with following the others lead it was easier to get back up to shore. “Well our clothing should be technically dry, so we could just put them back on right?” This was the first time her scars been in full view. At least not bothering her, but she didn’t seem to notice it even being visible. The gashes on her side were definitely caused from Monokuma’s claws… no denying that one.
Mikado snickered and looked amused. “You make a fair pointn let’s stay close~” He hummed to himself, he clearly liked the closeness. “Hmm, they should in theory be fine yes so let’s get them.” He made sure she was safe all the way to the shore and made his way put of the water. “Though they might not stay that way once we get them on.” He looked at the scar and paused in his steps, he looked to feel bad. The gushes were a proof of a lot of things, he tried to not draw attention to them for now and quickly went to get his clothes.
As the two got onto the ground, the water still seemed to have some problems when interacting with physical beings. Their skin returned to being completely try although the same couldn’t be said for hair. Sora’s hair was still near completely soaked. She stepped away from him for a moment to try and wring the water out of her hair and watch it trickle down onto the ground. “My hair is a bit heavy now, perhaps I should’ve put it up prior to jumping in? I’ll have to remember that for next time.” She let out a small huff and moved to put her clothes back on. “Would it be better to put it back up while it’s trying or should I leave it down?”
Mikado looked at her hair dripping, he got his own clothes on but kept his hat off and looked at her. “Well tying it up might make it take longer to dry but drip less. It might be better to let it dry first.” He felt water was dripping from his own hair so he decided to carry the hat with him for now. “Hmm… How curious.” He figured there would be some isdues with the program but he didn’t really think there were glaring issues like water not sticking to skin or the likes.
Sora nodded as she pulled her hair through the back of her clothing, letting out a shiver as the wetness seeped into the back of her shirt a little. At least the water still interacted with objects in that sense, no doubtfully wasn’t a major focus when coding. “I believe I’ve heard when you get wet and become too cold that you could get sick from a… classmate… before. Perhaps it’s a good thing that we’re not as soaked as my hair.” She moved closer to Mikado and offered her hand towards him once more. Even if they were to just walk for a bit it seems shes gotten into the habit of staying close to him when preparing to move somewhere new.
Mikado looked at it and hummed in thought, he guess those kinds of things weren’t something they saw as too important to make accurate for them when creating it. “Well that isn’t wrong, people do often get sick from it, it’s one of the reasons people change clothes after it has rained to avoid getting a cold. Yes i think it’s a good thing in a sense that it’s just one thing. Still feels strange with only the hair being affected.” He smiled at her and held her hand, giving it a soft squeeze.
“It oddly almost reminds me of drying off after a shower, although that might be due to the length of my hair since it takes longer to dry. Who knows, maybe the weather here will help fight off that potential cold anyway.” Part of her wanted to just smile and nod along, but to understand things she had to compare. She smiled back at the other when he squeezed as if it regained her focus. “Any idea where we’ll travel to next?”
“I can imagine so yes, shorter hair has less lenght that needs to dry. Then how about we go somewhere warmer so you can avoid getting sick.” He beamed up in a happy manner, he didn’t want her to catch a cold so it was better to move somewhere they could be warm. “Hmm… I wonder… If the arcade would be cold or if perhaps we could go to a sauna?” He enjoyed playing games but he wasn’t going to risk her health just to go to an arcade so he suggested a sauna where he knew it was hot.
Sauna… That word felt familiar to her. She’s been to one once before but… That involves more water to keep the heat around. “I think I’m done with water for now. I wouldn’t mind the arcade, maybe we can stop at a shop to get a jacket or something to help us keep warm while playing games?” Plus, it would be nice to play together. Who knows, maybe they could find a game she’s surprisingly good at. “I’m sure another layer of clothing could help keep my hair away from physically dripping on me, even if it’s a pull over.” She had the temptation to suggest for them to share the others cape but that wouldn’t quite work the same regardless.
Mikado laughed lightheartly and hummed in response. “Fair enough, the arcade it is then, don’t get too discouraged if i beat you in games~” Confident in his skills he didn’t even try to hide it. “Hmm… well we can look for something like that but while we look…” He took off his cape and stopped briefly to put it under her hair before using the sun clip to get it on. “There you go. It can help at least for awhile. The cape suit you quite well you know~” He thought she could lend it while they looked for something that could handle the water better.
“I’m sure it’ll be fun even if I lose. After all, I’ve never really gotten to play many games before.” New experiences are always something to look forward to. His confidence even made Sora let out a small laugh. “Who knows, maybe we’ll find a game even I’m good at and I’ll be the one to win.” It doesn’t hurt to spark a little rivalry for fun. Her cheeks flushed a little after the cape was put on her. “Ah… Thank you, but are you sure you’re fine with it getting wet?” Surely it’ll take at least a little to dry the dampened spot.
He hummed in thought, well she wouldn’t have much time for such things so he doesn’t find it too odd. “Then i’m sure you will have a lot of fun fufu~” He was excited to let her rry different games, maybe she could find her strong point there too and get a boost of confidence. “Is that so? Well if you aim to beat me you should put your best performances at work.” He giggled, clearly he thinks he has a lot of skills there. “Don’t worry about that, i think it’s more important to keep you from getting sick.” As much as the cape and hat was important to him they wrre still just pieces of clothing that could be dried later, a person’s health comes first.
“Best I can do is give it my all.” Seeing the other this excited about playing games together, she couldn’t help but smile. “I’m sure there’ll be a lot for you to teach me about once we get there.” She reached to hold the others hand as she had done before. “First to a shopping center.” She was happy to have someone who was caring so much for her.
Mikado gave a giggle in turn. “I look forward to it, you’re bound to find something you’re good at.” He was more than happy to let her try several games and it helped him feel like it could help her find something she enjoys too, he chuckled and held her hand. “Right, we should find one not too far away.” He went to lead her towards a shopping center, he should be able to find it.
“Even if I don’t, at least I can give it a try and find something fun to work towards in the future.” She wasn’t holding her breath on the good at part. It would all be new after all. “We seem to find things rather quickly… Do you secretly have a map of this place?” She was mostly joking, but the speed it took for them to actually find a new place was a little suspicious in her eyes.
“Fufu, i’m quite sure you will find something, who knows you might already have a knack for something but weren’t aware.” He hummed and soon sighed a bit at her question. “Something like that. It wouldn’t be too far from the truth.” Should he be keeping his connection to the simulation be a secret? He wasn’t sure.
She tilted her head in confusion for a moment. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. A map in general sounds neat, I’d probably still get lost though.” she let out a small awkward laugh in attempt to ease the other. “That makes you the perfect navigator for times like this.” She enjoyed the travel together regardless of knowing where they were going or not.

Though i do want to tell you, i just weren’t sure how to tell it and some things are more fun if there’s a mystery behind it~” He gave a smug expression to Sora “True it does, doesn’t it? “The Nijiue household had ended up under attack. No one went in to save Iroha, so I did it. Something told me I should’ve gone in there despite the dangers of the destruction. When I found her I carried her out on my back before the place started its final stage of collapse. Then brought her home.” Utsuro couldn’t care less what the rest of the Nijiue’s thought at that point considering they were close to letting a child die in the building.
“As for Hajime… the three of us, Utsuro, Mikado and myself had gone to a theme park on the same day as he was going as a ‘last wish request’ from what he told us. We ran into him and… I couldn’t handle letting him go back to the hospital when he told us his story, so we swept him up and brought him home with us.” Did she feel bad? A little, but he’s become so much happier and healthier since he’s lived with them and the rest of the kids. “We had discussed with them when we were going to the academy, my brother came to watch them while we were there so they weren’t entirely alone.”
“So you actually did talk to them. In my world, Usturo kinda just blessed them and up and left. They went looking for him, not wanting to risk losing their blushing. I’m glad this one didn’t do that.”
Shimizu’s smile was much brighter. She was glad that things went differently here. She was glad that Usturo actually helped and didn’t just blessed them.
“I have to say, I think I like this world a bit better. A lot of people who deserved a better ending technically gets it. They can even meet people who can help make sure they stay in a better place, even when that Devine luck ends. If it does end.”
“I did more then just talking to them… I don’t think yours likely realized he was directly blessing others.” He’s had a few situations where he’s blessed others by walking by them and hoping for something good to happen to stop the nuances.
“I suppose you can say we adopted those kids, so we all lived together under the same roof before we left to go to the academy. Iroha was the youngest child and Mikado was the oldest, each of them being a year or two apart from each other ironically.” Akane paused for a brief moment. “I don’t think we’ve ever directly talked about their futures… I’m not all that sure what they do now and days.”
“I think mine did. He just didn’t care what the effect of his actions or was bored. Either way, it doesn’t matter anymore. It’s hard to you know, walk past someone who’s in a hospital or stuck imprison in her own home to paint for basically ever and accidentally blessing them.That’s I believe where they met. Mom never really said where she met him but I think It’s safe to assume it was near her house at least.”
Shimizu took another sip of the tea. Her legs did shift a bit to make sure they were hidden. She was sure that her Usturo knew he blessed Void, but just didn’t care and did so because he was bored. The only thing she think he wouldn’t have known was about the very fact that it would lead to another killing game. But it’s not like she could confirm since he was, well, dead.
“What do you guys plan to do after the party, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m simply just curious.”
Utsuro thought for a moment… While there was a chance he didn't care… he likely had cared in the moment, otherwise the luck wouldn't have triggered. It could've simply been 'I want to help those less fortunate'… he tried to shut down those thoughts knowing what would happen but it was too late. There was a small dispute breaking out elsewhere in the hall.
Akane looked over at Utsuro then back to Shimizu, attempting to ignore what happened while knowing all too well what occurred. "By the sounds of it, your parents seem like another version of our children… We can't really give you any sort of answer you might be looking for from your Utsuro though. After the party we're likely going to be walking around the island again. Utsuro enjoys gardening from time to time so he might end up finding some to look at. I'd likely just go wherever but… I have a horrible sense of direction and would get lost easily on my own."

“That still sounds like a lot of hard work which I think should always be appreciated in some form or another. Maybe I could treat you to some sort of treat later after the party?” She smiled. “Well my brothers sometimes like to rough house and to escape each other from time to time they use the trees so climbing around them is natural for my youngest brother… I’m not sure why he watches the cityfolk though.”
The more she listened to Kido’s explanation, she raised her hand to hold onto her uniform’s tie. She wasn’t sure what to expect but it certainly wasn’t that. Was she even old enough to know about that? “I’ve never really delt with crimes somehow, at least nothing as severe as that. I was assigned a bodyguard as soon as my movies really started to pop off alongside my Uncle coming with me when he could.”
“You don’t have to. It’s just another of many things that I just do myself cause I can and it’s fun.” Color Kido a bit off guard with the offer. She’s gotten adjacent to three specific people offering or springing up activities on her. She didn’t mind it but, she still avoids on instinct.
As for her brothers, “Sounds like a bunch of dogs or monkeys than boys. Then again, I run around screaming in the woods like I was escaping a hockey masked killer. I can’t be too judgemental.”
“I mean with fans, paparazzi, and other hazards it makes sense. The public eye is a complicated thing. Can’t say anything else. I’ve only been popular in very nitch groups online.”
“If you say so, I won’t force you to go. That just wouldn’t be fair of me. If you’re alright with that of course.”
“Living in the woods does have its dangers at times with wild animals, even if our placement is generally safe… We still have to put up makeshift traps here and there for our own safety. We tend to set them free after we get them out but it still takes awhile for the animals to calm down to be able to do that.” She shivered for a moment, she remembers when one of her siblings ended up getting kicked in the gut by a deer before.
“I tend not to interact with the public unless I’m going shopping. I’ve had people yell to try and grab my attention here and there and usually dismiss it with a smile and wave. There’s a lot of persistent people out there who always try and grab celebrities attention the moment they’re outside their home.”
“If you’re interested in it I can. It does get a bit dirty depending on how and what you’re doing.” Kido let out a strangled chuckle. It sounded like rattling or gurgling coming from her chest. It could be caused by an infection.
“I understand why. I catch and release unless they show symptoms of illness. A lot of them end up having CWD or rabies and had to end their pain. I put them in my garden once cremated so infection won’t end up spreading. I tend to those who’ll survive for any injuries then let them go. They tend to remember me.” Kido blinked.
“I don’t like when I’m approached so I get some of the experience. If I’m having it really ruff I go into a panic or freeze up, hide, stuff like that. Haven’t done much else if the situations happen. I’ll make note of that in case we cross paths.”
The noise admitting had startled her at first. There's no way the other wasn't aware of it right? She smiled back regardless of her concern. "My uncle always says it's good to dip your hands in other activities to broaden your interests." A wave of confidence washed over her. "I'm sure it'll be a good time if we do it together."
"We're not able to tend to the sick animals like that unfortunately… If an animal does die in one of our traps, we have to fill the hole to bury it." She felt a bit guilty admitting it… but it was really the best the group could do for it if things got that bad. They have no ways of actually treating the animals.
"Have you tried using something to hide your face? I mean, where you can see them but they really can't see you. If it's anxiety about interacting with others, something like that might help- Ah, sorry for just assuming something like that."
Event: Setsuka’s party
Through the ‘night’, eventually everyone had returned to their hotel rooms where they were greeted with an invitation from Setsuka to come to a party.
Upon arriving at the location, <Your muse> was greeted with what looked like a movie theater. Decorated with light across the top but any sign that would indicate the name of it seemed to have been glitching out showing very little of what remained of the actual name. Upon walking inside they were greeted with a decent sized ballroom that stretched back pretty far and was decorated with certainly enough chairs and tables to be able to seat everyone. Small chandeliers were spread throughout the venue to keep it mostly lit without hurting eyes. Lining against one of the walls was a small stage elevated, it seemed like it was big enough to fit an entire band on it. There had been some fake trees and plants put around to try and make things a bit more lively. Towards the back there was a longer table leaned against the wall that laid between two doors, one on each side of the venue with quite long corridors.
“You were able to make it! I was surprised at the level of attendance actually, everyone managed to show up…and I mean everyone. Take the time to go mingle. ⁱ ʲᵘˢᵗ ʰᵒᵖᵉ ⁿᵒ ᶠⁱᵍʰᵗˢ ᵉⁿᵈ ᵘᵖ ᵇʳᵉᵃᵏⁱⁿᵍ ᵒᵘᵗ.” She smiled but she was very worried for the potential of a fight being caused just from two people not at least trying to get along.

“That still sounds like a lot of hard work which I think should always be appreciated in some form or another. Maybe I could treat you to some sort of treat later after the party?” She smiled. “Well my brothers sometimes like to rough house and to escape each other from time to time they use the trees so climbing around them is natural for my youngest brother… I’m not sure why he watches the cityfolk though.”
The more she listened to Kido’s explanation, she raised her hand to hold onto her uniform’s tie. She wasn’t sure what to expect but it certainly wasn’t that. Was she even old enough to know about that? “I’ve never really delt with crimes somehow, at least nothing as severe as that. I was assigned a bodyguard as soon as my movies really started to pop off alongside my Uncle coming with me when he could.”
“You don’t have to. It’s just another of many things that I just do myself cause I can and it’s fun.” Color Kido a bit off guard with the offer. She’s gotten adjacent to three specific people offering or springing up activities on her. She didn’t mind it but, she still avoids on instinct.
As for her brothers, “Sounds like a bunch of dogs or monkeys than boys. Then again, I run around screaming in the woods like I was escaping a hockey masked killer. I can’t be too judgemental.”
“I mean with fans, paparazzi, and other hazards it makes sense. The public eye is a complicated thing. Can’t say anything else. I’ve only been popular in very nitch groups online.”

Wrong AI..? He stared at the other for a moment to observe the face structure better. He still looks like him physically. He crossed his arms to show his affirmation of staying put. "Outside of Otori and Mekaru, my 'friends' would no longer recognize me. There's no way of knowing what they remember either at this rate." As much as he wanted to, it seemed too out of reach for him to suddenly mingle with his classmates again. "They can't die here. Not to my knowledge at least… I'm just making sure things don't go wrong for their recovery."

Nicknames have always been a difficult thing for Akane… She’s usually referred to people with their last name anyways out of polite habit from her work. “My name is pretty short as is, I wouldn’t be sure if there even could be a nickname created from it honestly. I haven’t attempted to find a new name either… Who knew something that should be quite easy would be so difficult.” She let out a soft awkward laughter before taking a moment to think of what to say next. “Hmm… Would possibly splitting your name in half to create two different names substitute in place for a nickname? At least temporarily.” She doubt it would be easy for him to try and reintroduce himself to his creator… while also using the same name… “Even if people do not like you the idea of them having called you harsh names in substitute before… I’d apologize on their behalf but I likely do not know many of them in the first place.”

"I don't know. I only heard of the project after it all occurred. I didn't know much about Hinata himself, not to mention he was at least two years ahead of myself in school. Although, Akane and Utsuro… are more then just friends now. They do technically have a family together as well." She wasn't too sure how to word that last bit without it sounding weird. The whole situation was messy to think about but one thing was clear the two seemed happy together in her eyes. "Often times, it's much easier to try and keep hope around in hard times then to let the weight of situations linger over you. I know that first hand…" She was given hope by many when she thought others were going to be dying because of her, and they comforted her all the same.
