This is to the people who claim Girls doesn’t do season-long story arcs. At the end of season two, we saw Hannah at her lowest point, and it took the love of her boyfriend to help get her out of that place she was in. Here we are at the end of season three, and she’s not clinging onto the love of someone else, she’s clinging on to the love of herself. It’s a powerful sentiment, and sometimes you do need to love yourself first and foremost. You have to go out in this world and do the things that matter to you, and put your needs first, and understand that this is your life and you can’t always be living it for others.
