The Iberian slug (a shell-less land slug) is a species without a shell. In this work, it is desperately trying to become something else - a Roman snail, which carries a shell. It represents the stubborn attachment to a toxic home, even when it only causes harm. It symbolizes a past that remains a blemish and clings tightly to us. The work explores the reluctance to become independent and move forward, held back by the illusion of comfort.
