hey!! i’ve decided to use tumblr a big more seriously from now on?? so i might be making a kinda HUB blog for all my muses, and that might require me leavin this acc behind. I’ll be remaking bendy on the new one of course, and when i do make the new thing i’ll make sure to link it here! but its just a little psa

Well- there goes whatever good mood he had before. Bendy’s disposition has changed to: angy. “What the hells that supposed ta mean!?”

Jiminy, more focused on his book than on the sky, glances up only to just miss whatever bright streak of light Bendy had spotted up above the both of them, perched on the top of the Minnie Van that had been procured to escort the duo up onto a hill outside of town (away from the lights and noise of Orlando).

“Gee, if that ain’t somethin’.” No, he didn’t see it, but this was all more for Bendy’s sake anyhow (he’d just wanted to show him something nice so badly - he’s not sure that Bendy’s ever strayed away from bright lights and big cities, and it just can’t compare to seeing the sky properly at night). ‘It’s gonna be a heck of a show up there, tonight,’ Jim had promised him (with some strings pulled courtesy of Miss Blue, naturally), and there’s some relief now that he knows she’d pulled through. Not that he’d ever doubted her. He couldn’t, not ever.

“Y’know - I don’t know if you’ve heard this before, but there’s an old wive’s tale that says a wish won’t come true if you don’t tell your nearest certified moral authority what you wished for. If you’re the superstitious type, I mean.”

And pulled through he certainly had. In truth, he hadn’t even looked to see if Jiminy had seen it. He was far too focused on staring up at the sky, his expression akin to that of a child on Christmas. The bright lights of New York tended to drown out any stars that tired to make themselves seen (both people and the big balls of gas), so it was safe to assume this may be one of the first times he’d seen so many. Aside from the occasional helicopter in the sky, that is. Don’t get him wrong, he loved the hustle and bustle a city brought! But this.. this was different. In a good way, that is. A perfect one. The shifts his focus a small bit at Jiminy’s statement, a chuckle evident before he responds. “Really? I don’t think I ever heard that one before, but if yer sayin so it must be true then.” Does he believe it? Of course not, he’s not an idiot. He knows its just Jiminy’s stupid way of wanting to know without directly saying so, but he won’t call him out on it. “Well, if any moral authorities around wanna know, It’s.. maybe not the greatest wish out there, but I was hopin that maybe one day.. everybody else back from that old, dusty studio I was before would get ta see somethin like this too.”

We interact all the time anyways but ¡!?

(  send “¡!” and i’ll tell you 3 ideas i have for a plot between our characters ! )

1) Post-contract-purchase, Jim could accompany Bendy to his first meet and greet in the parks. Play the role of makeshift character attendant. He’d be so proud of him :”)

2) ‘I’ve always wanted to go to Broadway and I know you used to hang around there anyhow so how about we sneak off property and go catch a show in New York’ 

3) No one ever gave Bendy a proper tour like Mickey gave Jiminy back when he first got brought to the studio, so … once they manage to get his contract, Jim feels like being the older sibling for once and showing Bendy all the things Mickey showed him all those years ago. You know, the best hiding spots, the windows that get the most sunlight, and so on and so forth. The important stuff.

“So you have been around longer than I have, then. Same as Mickey, and Minnie, and Donald- and just about everybody else around these parts.”

A very pointed look accompanies the crossing of his arms.

“Old toons livin’ in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, you know.”

He tried at least. “Last time I checked, we ain’t livin in a house. ‘Specially not one made outta glass! An alright, maybe I am gettin up there a little bit in years. That just makes the both of us old then.”

He knows it might not have been necessary, but.. still. It felt right to say it outloud, even if he was horrible at wording it out. He gives a small, soft smile at his reply. “I’m happy that outta everyone it coulda been, it was you who was there. Sure, there was a few other people, but we ain’t talkin about them right now.” He can’t count all the ways he’s happy to be here, and even more so that he’s actually welcomed. “It’s weird ya think of you as a new guy though, cause your so ancient!”
