Providence, a mysterious Human caster
Our Tarot deck Sefirot got picked up by a publisher and just got released with a new version worldwide!

O child of ethereal and terrestrial song, Grasp this sword, for to thee it does belong. With chain mail gleaming, both pearl and ore, Thou art armored 'gainst life's tempestuous roar.
Dawn, Hobgoblin Flurry Ranger
Boreas Mir, Elven Champion of Alseta
🌱 He arrives the morning of the tournament.
Part 1 of 5!
A lil monk warm up piece I finished up cuz I really liked the flow
Got to do this piece of Gnoss, the Hobgoblin Barbarian / Fighter, and Cael, the Half-Elf Cleric a while ago.
Gnoss of Neverwinter, Champion of Tymora, is a Path of the Zealot / Champion Fighter who's confident and upfront, with a flair for the ostentatious. Cael Irvyn of Elturel, a Cleric of Deneir, on the other hand, is more of the 'straight man' of the duo.
For this scene, it was a morning before a final battle against the Goddess of Darkness and a Shadow Dragon. Unsure any of them were going to survive, Gnoss woke Cael up early to hop on their magic carpet and fly to the top of Lathander's temple to watch the sunrise over the city, beyond the spires, and have a picnic breakfast of bacon and biscuits.
This was actually my second time drawing Gnoss! I had first drawn Gnoss in 2019, when I first started doing commissions, and, looking back now, it was such a joy to revisit her in a different context.
The complete party done for a longtime supporter's Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign that he ran for his table. This piece was such a joy to do. Since it was done over such a long period, I felt like I could see my work dip in and out of different styles of execution throughout the project.
🎅🦌 Another member of the party, here we have Klaus Wundersleigh, a Circle of the Arctic Land Druid! Love when players and DMs work together to make fun concepts like this work in their games. With a hermit background, I was happy to convey Klaus’ unhinged nature with his contrasting fire and ice spells! Also had to sneak in my take on April Prime's amazing official Icewind Dale reindeer designs 😍 One of my favourite things is when players come to the table with sort of ‘joke’ PCs, and if the table & the GM's good, I find that those PCs tend to have the best story arcs in game. It was really fun (visually) too to figure out how much I wanted the Santa to come through in Klaus' design. I found it quite enjoyable balancing the obvious archetypes and finding where I had the flexibility to break those moulds.

Raise your chalices to Kossuth, The Lord of Flames
Jakski the Fire Genasi Light Domain Cleric of Kossuth, the Primordial Firelord of the Elemental Plane of Fire. So much to say about this atheist drunk cleric, but my favourite thing about his pitch: he's a balding Fire Genasi, so his head's smouldering to embers. D&D's great.
Had a really good time with working in all of Jakski's equipment into his design. The commissioner brief was very detailed, so it took a bit of adjusting to get all the equipment in place. Can you spot his Brooch of Shielding or his Ring of the Ram?
The commissioner also requested for the symbol of Kossuth to be emblazoned on his shield, but I couldn't find a pose that highlighted his design and personality while showcasing the front of the shield. We ended up settling on having the symbol of Kossuth appearing behind Jakski everytime he pulled from the Place of Fire, as if drawing from Kossuth himself. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, and how it isn't too obvious what the symbol is of at a glance. It's always a fun balance between what the commissioner would like to see and the elements that would make a pleasing image to look at.
With redemption as your shield, violence shall be a weapon only of last resort
This is Escanor, an Emerald Dragonborn Redemption Paladin. He’s a PC in a Rime of the Frostmaiden game a longtime supporter was running. Escanor’s weapon was lost when he freed the soul of the Crystal Dragon trapped within it, though in exchange, he gained a blessing in the form of a pair of spectral gem wings. Since the loss of his weapon, Escanor now wields a folding auditorium chair, which I was more than happy to include. This was a really fun piece to work on. I managed to achieve a visual rhythm I was very happy with.
