âI always heard it snows less on the east coast than the west coast, when winter comes weâll see if thatâs true or people in New York just like making up things to complain about snow more.â There was one place heâd rather be, back in New York City. Jace would take that over a tropical island any day, talking about New York only brought back a pang of guilt for leaving his family. âUpside of not being on a tropical island though, we donât need to worry about sunburns now that thereâs a world shortage of sunscreen. One day and Iâd be a lobster.â
âNew York, huh? Is that where youâre from?â Brielle asked, raising a brow. She was kind of glad the conversation had taken a turn for the normal. She was much more comfortable with this topic of discussion. Brielle laughed at his last statement and nodded. âI would be too, I burn far too easily.â
