[PM] I miss you.
I miss you, Ems.
Someone brought this little guy to the gym today.
Lily likes to see her daddy with long hair after she saw the photo, it’s cute! I understand that and you could always show a few photos of you back in the day with long hair.
Ha! I agree. That's something that will have to live only in physical copies.
Coffee is becoming my new best friend.
Well, I drink coffee but with the baby, I’ve been drinking it in larger quantities.
Makes sense, bro. How is the little one?
I wasn't there for Lily when she was younger, but I was and still am rather close to my nieces. The baby stage is great. Just wait till she can sit up and crawl. Especially when she starts interacting. It's fantastic.
I still like it no matter what!
Lily is currently trying to get me to grow it out. I don't have the heart to tell her that there isn't a way in hell.
I think you looked adorable!
Aw, well gee, thanks. Sadly, I think the hair is terribly out of fashion.
Both of them are in your bad books? It’s a great photo!
Maybe if it was the 1970's!
Coffee is becoming my new best friend.
Sorry, Rach. :P
Welcome to the 21st century, Will. It's nearly impossible for me to get started in the morning without the 'Bucks.
In My Life. | Emma & Carl
Emma couldn’t wait till Carl and Lily got to her apartment to introduce Jamie to them. She heard Jamie make a sound and picked her up slowly to change her diaper and clothes ater she picked up a little then. She was handling a mess a lot better than she had before and was proud of herself for that since she had been working hard to keep it under control lately. Being a mommy was changing how she did things in her already and hoped that she could stick with them for the long term. “You are my precious little girl.” She said with a smile looking down at her daughter in her arms.
She glanced back down at Jamie with a smile, watching her daughter coo as she laid in the bassinet. Jamie was all smiles looking up at her Mommy and Emma couldn’t but smile down at her. For nine months, her and Will both had thought Jamie was a boy till birth when they learned it was a girl instead. She wouldn’t change anything about it and knew Will wouldn’t either. Hearing the knock at the door, Emma moved from the bassinet for a moment to open the door. She smiled seeing Carl and Lily on the other side and was tickled to see the two of them. “Thank you, Carl. I look like a hot mess right now.” She said with a soft laugh and took the gift bag from him. “Mommy life is good, I’m still adjusting right now. Jamie is excited to see you both.”
"Nonsense." He playfully grinned and leaned to kiss her cheek. He had Lily in his arms and he hesitantly stepped inside the apartment. He was glad to see the place was still rather clean, telling him that motherhood hadn't completely changed the redhead. "I can imagine. I didn't even know about this one." He tickled Lily's stomach, before smiling at Emma. "It'll get easier though. You have a lot of people who depend on you--who are willing to help." Carl set Lily down on the couch. "Sit, be good." He joked, kissing her head.
He knew how excited she was to see a baby, but he also knew that her excitement could scare the little girl. "We're excited to see her! I mean, look at this one, already jumping up and down She asked about a million questions on the way over here."
STOP IT
It’s precious. I love it. The hair flip…is just perfect.
That's actually my twin sister who you haven't met yet soooo... not me.
Lily and Santana are in my bad books right now.
My favorite princess sent me this asking who this was. I am dying. Explain yourself, Carl.
WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?
In My Life. | Emma & Carl
Emma couldn’t wait for Jamie to get the chance to meet Carl and Lily for the very first time, she knew they both excited about it. She smiled down at Jamie in her arms and leaned up to give her a gentle kiss on the forehead. “Mommy loves you very much and so Daddy. You’ve got two new excited visitors coming to see you soon and Lily is already calling you her best friend too.” She said with a soft laugh. She smiled listening to Jamie coo in her arms as she opened her eyes a little before closing them again. She was still letting the idea of being a new mommy soak in and adjust to all the new changes in life with a new baby being here with her. Her OCD was still doing good and not out of whack one bit which was a very good to her.
She grabbed one of the diapers to change to Jamie and get her dressed in one of the little outfits that Brynn had bought for her. “You look adorable in your outfit that Aunt Brynn bought for you, Sweetheart.” She said with a smile. She took a few minutes to try to get herself decent though not over doing it too much and wanted to look her best somewhat. Hearing the doorbell, she placed Jamie down into the bassinet so that she could open the door to let Carl and Lily in. “Hey Carl, Lily, Please come in. Jamie can’t wait to see you both!
The excitement on Lily's face when she was told she was getting to meet Jamie was the cutest. As they got ready, Lily was practically shaking with excitement. "Can she talk yet? Can she walk? Is she going to like me?" Carl couldn't help but laugh as he answered her questions. "Are you gonna get back together with Emma?" The young girl asked, making him clear his throat and focus more on the road. "Uh, well. I hope so," he mumbled, rubbing his neck nervously.
Pulling up at her home, Carl took the gift bag from the backseat and pouted. He had only managed to get her a few cute little dresses and cardigans. The fact that Jamie was a girl took him by surprise. Taking Lily's hand, Carl knocked on her door. When she answered, he couldn't help but smile as he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. "Congratulations, Emma. You look great," he winked, holding out the gift bag to her. "How is mommy life?"
She's excited to visit her new little best friend!
[Text] I would love to see you too. Yeah, I'm sure that I'm up for seeing visitors. Tell your mom that I said thank you for both, I'll have to make sure I send a picture of little Jamie for her to see.
[Text] Shouldn't I keep my distance? I mean, I know Will and I are buddies now, but if there's a chance something might happen, I don't want to get in the way of that. And yeah, send her a picture. She'll go crazy.
[Text] I'm still letting it all soak in right now about being a mom. I hope that I will be and like you said I've always been great with kids. Thank you. Could I see you?
[Text] I'd love to see you. Are you sure you're up for visitors, though? Also, my mom said congratulations and she's sending a gift down and some flowers.
