Magic Katastrophe Nivel 5 / Level 5

Continuing with Magic Katastrophe, I'm uploading the Level 5 information.

Important fact from the author: In some countries around the world, there are deep subway stations (some over 100 meters deep) that serve as bunkers or air raid shelters. In Megakat City, the entire line connecting to Lower Megakat was designed, built, and maintained for that purpose; the other subway lines suffered severe damage or collapsed.

Migthy Mutanimals old draw

I remember watching the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* cartoon when I was a child, I’m talking about the original series.

Years later, when the internet came along, I started looking up information about the show; that led me to the Archie Comics *TMNT* series and, consequently, the Mighty Mutanimals. I never liked that the group—along with Slash—was killed in those comics; they deserved a better final, and I think that’s what made me so selective about the comics I collect.

While going through some things, I found an old drawing I made back in 2008, based on the following image.

It was part of an idea for a fanfic I never actually wrote, but it takes place after the final issue of the Archie TMNT comics; the Sinopsis went something like this:

Some time after returning to New York, Mikey decides to visit the Mighty Mutanimals' island to pay his respects at his friends' graves. However, upon arrival, he catches someone desecrating the grave; before he can stop the intruder, he ends up in a different dimension and time period, where in his quest to get home he meets and teams up with another version of the Mighty Mutanimals.

I’m trying to recall why I didn't include Wingnut and Screwloose, and I think it was because, since they were aliens, I didn't see a reason to add them back then.

I know I made several drawings based on this idea; I'll look for them and upload them as soon as I find them.

Listening

Previously spoke in the Dark Side series about the origin of "Phantom"—formerly known as Rick Sky. Since I mentioned in that version that Baloo didn't find him at sea... did they ever meet?... Yes.

During an assigned mission, he had to obtain specific information from a target he had been tracking for months. One of the places the target frequented was Louie's Place; initially, he went there solely for the mission, but over time, he began visiting more often because he enjoyed the atmosphere. Above all, he loved listening to the gossip among the other pilots—especially the stories Baloo told.

Oh, and regarding the context of the image: Baloo looks bewildered as he listens to some panther pilots discussing Shere Khan's new assistant and speculating on how long the poor soul will last before running away.

Rick (thinking): Just how many assistants has he gone through to warrant a betting pool?

Criminal Report / Informe Criminal

The more I develop the story of Magic Katastrophe, the more ideas I have. One of them would be an information sheet about the criminals who serve as level bosses. These sheets would include a brief description of what they were doing before the events of the game (although in the case of the Vassals, it would be their participation in the destruction of the city) and what happens to them after they are defeated in their levels.

Magic Katastrophe Nivel 4 / Level 4

Continuing with Magic Katastrophe, I'm uploading the information for the fourth level. This might be the only level where T-Bone will team up with the gang, as I want to use the group later on in the DLC story.

A small detail: when T-bone is near them, he sometimes says without thinking certain details that he remembers from his time living with them. For example, the first time he met them and saw them defend themselves without problems from a group of enemies, he said, "Wow, they still know how to put up a good fight."

Siguiendo con Magic Katastrophe subo la información del cuarto nivel, es posible que este sea el único nivel donde T-bone hará equipo con la pandilla, ya que quiero usar al grupo mas adelante en lo que seria la historia de los DLC.

Un pequeño detalle cuando T-bone esta cerca de ellos a veces dice sin pensar ciertos detalles que recuerda de su tiempo cuando convivía con ellos por ejemplo la primera vez que se reúne con ellos y los ve defenderse sin problemas de un grupo de enemigos dijo "Guau aun saben llevar una buena pelea"

Magic Katastrophe Nivel 3 / Level 3

The third level of Magic Katastrophe, if you're wondering why Pastmaster is now a meat cat, was thanks to one of the Vassals. In this level, T-bone is separated from the group, so the next levels 4 and 5 occur simultaneously as they try to regroup.

One day, the Count of Rochefort and Widimer were walking along when they saw D'Artagnan watching something intently from the bridge where they were standing.

Widimer: What are you doing?

D'Artagnan: Shhh, it's getting interesting.

Magic Katastrophe Nivel 2 / Level 2

At this level, another fighter joins us, Streaky, and yes, it's Streaky from the cartoon Krypo the Superdog, but unlike in the series, he was always a native of the Swat Kats' planet, so he never appeared in the series (I'll explain this later).

Aparoid King

James McCloud was once a defender of the Lylat System, until his disappearance at the hands of Andross… and if he was indeed secretly taken from the cells and brought far from the system. He awoke in a long-destroyed and abandoned laboratory. After managing to reactivate the computers, he discovered that he was one of many prisoners in an experiment that would combine Aparoid DNA with his own—an experiment that went awry, causing the destruction and death of everyone in the base except him. He eventually left the base and began to travel the planet alone, always keeping his distance from the inhabitants, as they sensed that something was wrong with him. Sometimes he even had dreams in which he helped his son. For years he was alone, until one day he was captured by slavers who planned to sell him… when something unexpected happened… the power within him activated and adapted, destroying his captors. The Aparoid Queen had fallen that day, and the Aparoid King had ascended.

Kit Kats

At the end of March, while browsing the official Swat Kats Facebook page, I came across this post.

I didn't think much of it at the time, but a couple of days later, I saw the Kit Kats topic popping up on other pages, so I ended up checking the news and saw the story about the heist of the century. After reading it, I couldn't stop thinking… Top Cat SK accidentally stole the truck while practicing a teleportation spell.

This even gave me the perfect idea to include Top Cat HB and Top Cat Jellystone. And if you're wondering what the three Bennys are doing, the littles Bennys yelled "CANDY TRUCK!" when Top Cat SK was trying to cast the spell. Nobody expected it to work out so well.

Dark Rick Sky / Phantom

It's been a while since I've drawn anything from the Dark Side, and this one would be Rick Sky from TaleSpin.

What if Rick thawed out beforehand and was found by someone else?

For those who remember or have seen Disney's TaleSpin series, you'll recall Rick Sky, a legendary World War I pilot who disappeared along with his squadron while transporting a shipment of silver. This act branded them as thieves and traitors to the country, making them deeply hated by the population, with the exception of a few.

In this version, the glacier where they were trapped thawed Rick a few years before the series began. As he drifted at sea, he wasn't found by Baloo, but by a spy ship from a small country—and I'm not referring to Thembria.

He was taken prisoner to this land, a small continent located far out at sea, similar to Marvel's Latveria. Despite being frozen for several years, they saw his potential and subjected him to brainwashing experiments to make him loyal. Rick fought hard, but in the end, his mind broke, and he became a completely loyal soldier. Under the pseudonym "Phantom," he has successfully commanded several stealth attacks against the Pirates. and Cape Suzette

There is a bitter final note: during his torture, Rick ended up revealing the location where he and his team were when they were frozen, so a secret expedition was launched to recover the silver, but the remaining members of the squad were left behind in their ice prison.
