Not all character development is positive. Characters can, and in my opinion, should, develop both negative and positive traits throughout the course of their story. As the story goes, they shouldn’t be perfected, they’re people, not artpieces, and so there shouldn’t be a stage where they’ve improved/changed exclusively for the better, to the point where they have no negative traits at all.

Seriously fuck those people who are blaming NYC for the coronavirus being this bad. It the fuck our fucking shitface president and his supporters that they didn’t take the virus seriously. Love how people are blaming nyc for it and are against nyc for being a travel hub. Yeah we totally wanted to be in this situation where everyone I know is in a constant panic. So many New Yorker are dying too and suffering just like everyone else too. We are even advised to not go to pharmacies and not set foot outside. At this point people are unable to be in the hospital. Literally fuck those people who say it because we sinned. Fuck them so much. literally someone I know a family friend passed away in his home from this virus right a week before Ramadan. I don’t think anyone deserves this and it sad that people instead of thinking about how the government made it worst is instead placing blame on people who didn’t do it.

Let me ask though people who think that it fully nyc fault how were we supposed to protect ourselves from it when nyc is a hub full of people with trains jammed pack? And how our president called doctors liars and hoarder when they begged for the government to provide the resources available.

Naw, I’m being hyperbolic.  What he’s actually planning is just willfully negligent homicide, not murder!  

What Trump said–bragged about, really–is that he told Mike Pence, coordinator of the White House’s coronavirus response, not to call governors in Washington, New York, and Michigan about distributing emergency supplies, like ventilators and protective equipment for medical personnel, because the governors criticized him.  

He actually said that.  In a press conference.  This is not a secret conversation in the White House corridors that was leaked.  He said this, out loud, in so many words, to the press corps.  

Don’t send.

Life-saving-equipment.

To states.

Whose governors.

Hurt his feelings.

Here’s the actual quote–his words, not mine:

“I tell him — I mean I’m a different type of person — I say, ‘Mike, don’t call the governor in Washington, you’re wasting your time with him. Don’t call the woman in Michigan,’” Trump said. “If they don’t treat you right, I don’t call.”

And this is not just bluster.  Here’s what Governor Whitmer–”that woman in Michigan”–told a radio station in her state:

“What I’ve gotten back is that vendors with whom we’ve procured contracts — they’re being told not to send stuff to Michigan,” she told WWJ 950.

Michigan is  the state with the third-highest number of confirmed cases in the country right now–despite having difficulty with access to testing.  They’re 5th in number of deaths, with 111 so far.  (That link is to an article that updates daily; these figures are from the early morning of 3/29/20).  

And, not for nothing, Trump fucking won Michigan in 2016.  That’s right; even if you voted for Trump, he’s perfectly willing to let you die!  

Oh, and he also says he won’t comply with transparency requirements for aid to big business in the stimulus package, and he wants stimulus payments to individuals to be in the form of checks that have his signature on them–even though direct deposit would get the money into the hands of struggling people much more quickly.  

But it’s Trump; what did you expect?
