HP and company

I was in a car with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Albus Dumbledor. We were stopped just outside of my house when Dumbledor told us not to move yet. There was a ghost in town. He could sense it. Now this ghost, unlike your regular ghosts, could find you with your screams and fear. As long as you didn’t scream, the ghost couldn’t reach you. But this ghost knows where you are, it just can’t get to you. So it starts putting on a horrible show of gruesome things you don’t want to see. It turned into a man being burned alive, a beaten woman, and slowly, it started to turn into people we all knew. Friends being eaten alive by rats, etc. All of this just trying to get that scream out of one of us. We’d all be doomed had we let a scream out.  **Alarm goes off***

Artifacts

I was living in some sort of station. My friends and I were looking for some artifacts that we heard about in stories that would lead to an underground portion of the station. There were 3 of us. We were all young kids, between 12 and 14. We kept hearing adults talk about this lore like it was nothing. So we decided to do some investigating ourselves.

 We started with the first story, except I had already found it by accident in a dream previous... So I took my friends to this forgotten room where this little elephant statue was sitting inside this deeper than normal hearth. There was a small groove in front of the statue from moving it forward to show the stone slab behind it. The statue would move as soon as you let it go, so you had to move quickly. There was a room behind the stone slab.  *******Can’t remember what was in the room******** But we left the room and moved on to artifact #2: we had to find two bright yellow bricks. Which we found and took them with us to the second part of the story. We found this dingy old mens washroom, that had graffiti all over the walls. One piece in particular had a lot of yellow along the bottom of it, where it was missing a few bricks. We replaced the bricks and the yellow of the graffiti dissolved into a staircase that led to an old locker room/storage room. From here, there were a few drains in the floor, and some old shower stalls. We found one drain with writing around it, near the back in the corner of the room. We dropped a rock into it and didn’t hear it fall. We knew this was the spot. We searched along the walls until we found a small button that opened up the drain into a winding slide. But there was still a lot of water. Going down this slide would mean you would have to hold your breath.  We all went down the slide and fell into this large abandoned storage room. The slide disappeared and there was a corresponding drain that was giving off a faint glow. Caelin put her finger over the drain and then her finger gave off the same glow. The rest of us followed suit. 

After exploring a little bit, we came to this wide, empty space with only a few things in its corners. We all heard a noise, the boy shone his light into a closet high on the wall. It was all darkness until a giant doll head moved into the light. Its head was too big to fit through the closet, but we could see it plain as day. She started to move her head from side to side as if there was music playing, and she was smiling eerily. She moved away from the closet, enough to put her hands in front of her. As she did this, the room changed. The closet morphed into a window, moonlight was streaming in and the room itself turned into a many doored dining hall. Her hands started moving the same way as her head, slowly from side to side.  Her hands were large and scaly. The nails were as long as her fingers, yellowed and bent multiple times. Her left hand started to move forward, and was stretching toward the centre of the room. Her hand was soon level with us, and started to jerky slightly. It passed through a shadow and when it came out of the shadow, it was a basilisk. We all magically had swords, and kept dodging its attacks. 

**This is where the dream kind of split...I was following two views** View 1: I got knocked down into a corner full of cloth. I was trying to regain my footing and noticed the cloth moving beside me. This little mouse in armour showed itself and said it would try to help, but was a coward, so could only help me escape.  View 2: As the basilisk opened its mouth around me to clamp down on my torso, this girl pushed me out of the way and became a giant hydra. Bigger than the basilisk and bit it’s head off. The view shifted to the window, where you could see her body, a purple snake writhing, versus the basilisk, a blue bodied fiend. However, we forgot about the right hand, so the blue body grew, longer and doubled, it twisted around her body, constricting her. But she kept growing more heads; the basilisk didn’t give up it’s savage attack. However, we knew if she were to turn back into a human, there would be nothing left of her.  **Views merge** That’s when we saw the mouse beckoning us to him. We all ran to him and he said he knew how to escape. *ALARM*

Benjamin Button-esk

Started out at university, there were 4 of us and we just had a huge study session. The campus was just closing down so certain doors were closing and alarmed. It became a game as to which ones to avoid. Aaron and I ran ahead and he was giggling like a school girl. Then it kind of skipped and the 4 of us were outside in the court yard, getting some exercise in. It was me, Aaron B, Derrick W, and Centa(I think). I was able to run really fast in the dream when we were just running for fun, but as soon as we tried to see who was the fastest, I couldn’t get my footing. We had a coach, who kept telling us to do burpee’s and suicides. **I think that’s what they’re called, running back and forth starting at one spot but finishing slightly closer or something? I might have it backwards** The court yard turned into a playground, a very cramped playground; and we turned into children. But it was hard to get around. I found a half eaten slice of pizza that I tried to turn over with my foot. A wasp flew around me and landed on my shirt. Another girl was there and told me to lift up my shirt** just so it’d be harder to be stung** but then the girl said,“ You might have to pull down your pants.” I said. “ what?” She said “Yeah, the wasp might ‘pull you down’ and you have to go along with it.” So I said, “Yeah, not doing that.” Flicked the wasp off and then ran into an old school bus that was part of the playground and closed the door. Wasp couldn’t get in then. End.

A birthday

*This dream starts off a little bit hazy, but from what I remember, it was my birthday. And location would shift every time I left/entered another room.* I was in my house with my friends Niamh and Maha. **We never actually lived in the house in this dream. It was just dreamscape, but picture an old bookstore that was once a house.** I was hungry but all of our food wasn’t edible. We had a rack with bread and different kinds of rolls on it, but they were all stiff and stale or had mold on it. When I walked out of the kitchen, I was in an office with this very large man who kept offering me jobs at his firm, manager, shareholder, part-owner. But his business was going under, so I just walked away because he wasn’t listening to me anyway. Upon exiting his office, I was on the second floor in a mansion with white marble and low lighting everywhere. Took the next door to my right and landed in a massive hotel room with my computer and a wide bed. As I was settling in, people kept trickling in, wishing me happy birthday and asking how I’d be spending the night. I went to the bathroom, and in the tub was a friend Ch. Her face looked swollen under the water, but when I lifted her out, she was fine. She wanted to stay and just lay in the water.*I don’t know how she was breathing, but she was totally fine.*  So as I was sitting on the toilet, at least 6 people entered the bathroom, each with their own baggie of some sort of drug. My friend Marc was there, and when nobody suggested an outing for the night, he said, “This party blows. You guys are boring.” A random blonde-haired dude then came into the room and said, “The chastity police are doing a sweep! You better clean yourselves up!” To which everyone started hiding their baggies of drugs...all while I’m sitting bare-assed on the toilet. I was the only one questioning this blonde man and the “chastity police” **But my alarm went off before I could finish any thought**

It’s just a little crush

**I was at the mall yesterday, looking for a gift for my brother for Christmas. As I’m leaving, I see these two guys in front of me...and I just so happened to recognize them as my crush and his friend. Let’s call them Jay and Bob. So I turned around and walked to a different exit because who can talk to their crush like a normal human? Anywho *** All of the girls from my class are in this kitchen, trying different cakes and desserts for our potluck in Dec. I had this really nice app where I could click a picture on online and the dessert would show up on the table. **LOVELY** I somehow managed to get icing all over my hands, so I went to wash them, but when I got back, everyone had left except Jay and Bob. I spoke to them for maybe a sentence before deciding to leave. As I was putting my shoes on, I noticed them put their heads together and Bob called my friend C **Who currently lives in BC and would have no way to have her number** I heard him ask,” Does K like me?” So I just put my shoes on as quickly as I was able to without tripping over myself and I said bye and left. **My friend C told me that bob was her first kiss.**

Car ride.

So I saw an old friend Toria around my neighbourhood/my yard, so I offered to drive her home. Except I could only take my Dad’s truck. ** Im not very good at driving trucks..** So I go to get into the front, but Toria is sitting there and her kid is sitting in the drivers seat. **I think her little girl is about 2 or 3 now. ** Anyway, I’m tryng to get to the drivers seat. But Toria keeps pushing buttons that makes the interior shift and transform. By the time we get to the road, I’m buckled into a seatbelt that’s too tight. Toria is telling me all about Chicago, because somehow when we left the yard, we were on the highway in Chicago.. I’m trying to get out of the seatbelt, and yell at the girls to stop, to pull over... I finally am able to yell, “PULL OVER, I NEED TO DRIVE” when her daughter veered off road, onto this track of dirt and old broken down cars. The truck almost toppled into this sea pit next to us. Toria starts telling me about how this place used to be and now it’s a wasteland ever since the apocalypse. Then my alarm went off.

Tasks

This dream started out with me meeting up at my old place of work, groovy. Except in the dream it looked nothing like it actually does. It was a cross between Rotate This and Urban Outfitters. The guy there was an old coworker, and warned me that  the boss was downstairs. I left shorty after. I was walking across a playground when these two people behind me shouted that I looked very festive in my green shirt and maroon pants, which made me start to run and jump around.  I made it to where I was going, which was my old high school, HAH. Creeping past classrooms, everyone was in PJ's. It must have been pyjama day. I pass one classroom that has a student I recognize. She notices me and tells me to come over. I'm just outside the classroom when the teacher pokes her head out of the classroom saying I'm needed and I need to keep going to meet "them".  I continue, and finally meet Mom, Courtney and Campbell. As we walk through the rest of the school, I notice writing on the walls. A triangle with a grid then 20. Directly under it wind symbols and then 20 again. No idea what this meant. So we continued on and later we found the same writing, except this time it had actual words, "Inject 20, Do Not Inhale 20". 

The whole purpose of this trip was meeting at my old place of work to help renovate. We were all going to help, but I was going to stay with Mom in this now hotel room so we could get there quicker. However, the room seemed to be objecting to our stay. The blinds started shaking, the floor flooded, the curtain fell off the doorway. Until my Mom shouted at the room, "Stop that! There's no need for this outrage." But we had to sleep with the baby in our bed because the room was trying to get to her in her bassinet. The room was jealous of the baby.  And then I woke up.

Party in the Wine Vineyard

I was walking up Bathurst street (The part in between Queen and Dundas where there are those odd roads that don't intersect.)  I was with a few people that were going to this party in the Wine Vineyard, and some people that were going to a house party farther up the street. I was with my ex, Mike, and his sister was the one who told us of this party. We had to pass the Vineyard party before the other one, so once we got there, there was a big, wooden gate to block out people. It was boarded up as well, so you couldn't see into the yard. 

His sister got in, and Mike snuck in with her, and left me outside. After a few seconds he opened the door for me. The others had already gone up. So we went inside, and it was a house with about 50 stairs leading up to the main house. I was wearing flip flops, so it was difficult for me to get up the stairs. I had to use the sides of the walls on landings and the train on the stairs to pull myself up. Mike got impatient and went into the party without me. I finally get inside; it's very cramped, there is a guy peeing on the wall beside a door, I had to squeeze past him. 

The main apartment was actually very spacious. It was a step down from the cramped upper portion where the washroom was into the main space. I sat at the table directly beside those stairs as a guy was asking what I wanted to drink. It was so loud I couldn't hear him. I mouthed the word beer. 

I had come in with a squeezable in my mouth ***A squeezable is a small smoothie like drink for babies and it's in a small bag like container*** There were 3 others sitting at the table with me, and they were interested in the squeezable. However, the room slightly changed after a shot time speaking to them. I was in the kitchen at the table with the first guy that asked me if I wanted a drink. Except he kept pouring out chocolates for us to eat. They were delicious, but they were just Cadbury Buttons. ***The alarm went off***

"Abandoned" Schools

My friend, Chris and I decided to go exploring to try to find any abandoned buildings. We found this one old school house that looked like it was abandoned so we decided to try to find a way in.  ***I'm not sure where we were. This is the first time I've dreamt of this particular place.***

Surprisingly, the back door was unlocked. We pushed it open and upon entering we found a group of about 7, sitting in comfy chairs eating their supper.They all of course, looked surprised to see us, just as we were to see them. Feeling awful for just barging in on their home, we said, "Sorry for just barging in. We thought this was a school house." The oldest man there then responded, "It's not a problem. May I ask, what are you doing here? What are you looking for exactly?" "We just wanted to explore the place. See how many classrooms there are, write on the chalk boards, you know..." The old man smiled. He said, " Go ahead. We're just having supper, so please don't be loud." ***This part is fuzzy, I can't remember how it happened now. But an old woman appeared, like the old woman in Big Fish that everyone was afraid of who had that eye that could see the future? Very similar to her***   An old woman appeared, dresses in tattered, dark clothing. We tried to leave because she was giving off an awful vibe. However, she put a spell on Chris that made him dumb and in doing so, he didn't want to leave then. She used her magic to make a forceful wind throw me out of the house. All of the doors and windows locked at once.

  The only thing I could think of to get any attention from her was to just start banging on anything that would make noise. I started on the back door, we this whole mess began. The bangs were barely audible, so I moved to another door, then window, and slowly moved around the house, shouting anything while doing so. I got to the front, which now had pots and pans strung up away from the deck, but not so high that I couldn't throw pans from the ground at them. I managed to make enough noise to get the old woman screaming.

  I went around the side of the now house, and saw the wall had been removed. The old woman was screaming, but was not in sight. BUT, there was Chris! I ran over to him and shook him, slapped him, tugged his arms, trying to get him to move, to jolt him from his spell. Luckily, it worked. We ran for our lives. Back around to where the car was parked. The old woman was coming out of the back door, screaming, just screaming. Chris and I had only just managed to make it into the car and the lock the doors. I found myself in the back seat, when I was aiming for the drivers seat, but Chris found the drivers. We were off. Thankfully. However, Chris didn't follow the normal road, he seemed to ave taken an industrial road. We got stuck behind some 18 wheelers and had to wait for them to back up a bit to give us enough room to turn around. 

The neighbourhood changed then; we were driving down a different road that was residential. Chris got out and ran over to some people grasping large branches. I had another bad feeling. I got out of the car and slowly started walking away. I could see a few other people walking around, without anything in their grip. Then I heard it. The guys that had branches and Chris. Chris said, "You get the rest, I'll get Kirsten." FUCK, I screamed in my head and began to run. When I looked behind me, the guys with branches were forcing themselves on the others, hitting them with branches. The only good thing, was that these brutes seemed to be really dumb, so their branches kept getting tangled. Chris broke free and was chasing me. ***Then my alarm went off.***

Skiing Spiderman

I was in a white dress climbing through a cave with my friend George. It's all very steep but there were railings and a few stairs. However, we got to this one point where the stairs and concrete fell about 15 feet and you had to swing across on a small, fraying rope. I had had enough and said, "Nope, I'm done. I'm going back."    By the time I got outside, (the cave was part of a large building) a large crowd had congregated. They all seemed to be looking at this one guy, who was bleeding from the head and hands. I started asking people what happened when this one girl came up to me and started to explain. The guy bleeding on the ground was on some serious drugs and started bashing up the place. So they put the building on lockdown. I looked around at the building again and I saw George in a spiderman outfit being questioned.     George grabbed a pair of skis and then left my sight. My friend Ashley then came out of nowhere and we ran up the ski slope that was attached to this building. Once at the top, we saw a skiing spiderman heading down the slope. Ashley then used me as a toboggan and we slid down the slope to meet up with George. (Who, by the way, miraculously changed into a nice coat and pants on his way down.)

Lemurs and dead ends.

I was walking along a dirt road with my friends Maha and Romaine. We kept finding these little green purses everywhere. It almost looked like Spring cleaning because of all the old junk left on the side of the road. Out of nowhere, Maha exclaims that she is hungry. Maha started looking inside the junk and lemurs jumped out. I saw eyes inside a semitransparent BBQ fixture, and the little arm came out and grabbed my purse. I threw my lipgloss and it was distract. Maha had chased one into a field. I ran over to them and they kept saying, "Let's have LEMUR for supper!" I was disgusted. The little lemur that had grabbed my purse jumped on top of me and said, "Don't SAY those things!!!" In trying to make it understand, I grabbed the front of its' chest and yelled back, "I don't even want to EAT lemur!!!" We were all distracted by a car that stopped. Inside was Charlie Day and Glen Howerton. They offered to drive us, but none of us trusted them. So we walked down the road as they drove off and met up with Romaine's friend. We found a house eventually and knocked, but no one answered. We picked the lock and got inside and ate some juicy berries. Romaine, Maha and (She shall be names Kelly for this story) Kelly went outside to see if they could flag down any cars, but we wre arguing because Maha and I wanted to just walk to the nearest phone to call a friend. A car pulled into the driveway during this debate, and all three of them got into the car without hesitation. I didn't have a good feeling about it; I tried to tell them to get out, but they weren't listening. Charlie Day and Glen Howerton then pulled up in the driveway. It was one of those moments, when you knew who was trustworthy and who wasn't. I had already locked the doors but I was still watching what was happening. Charlie came up to the door and asked to use the washroom. I said no and the guys from the other car got out and started smashing windows. I screamed for help and ran for the back door. ***Then my alarm goes off and I wake up with a mouth full of spit(From the juicy berries) and out of breath. ***

To be King

I became "King" of the lower half of a campus. It was really just a super rowdy party. There was a drum circle that I danced through. I had to carry around this barrel with me for a little while. There was an immense amount of liquor handy. Everybody was wasted. Tripping up stairs, flashing people on couches. It was the summer time so a lot of people were half dressed. It was basically a rambunctious, rowdy party where everyone was at the really happy drunk level. As King I had a new set of parents and they kept keeping people out of trouble. I always seemed to find myself in the midst of the trouble makers but only at the end when the parents would come around. We also had a beach and dock in our territory, so two people had made a bong out of a seashell and the parents came and told them to go back to the castle. ***The castle was really just a big bar that we had taken over*** They were about to talk to me about something...

Lunch break

It's a warm summer day. I'm in a strapless dress. It's shortly my turn for break so I decide to go to a noodle place just down the road from work. **This place doesn't actually exist, and the layout of this dream does not take place on the real Queen Street. Also, I think I've had part of this dream before because there is a route to take, jumping over garbage bins, climbing front porches, it all links together.** I ordered some noodles, sat down and waited...and waited and waited. I turned around and the shop had closed! I was looking around for the woman who had taken my order, but I couldn't see her anywhere. She finally came back with all of her coworkers. I explained that I had not received my order and that I was looking for store credit. That took ages. I kept getting interrupted by the manager flirting with the girl giving me credit. 

Finally got it, had to run for it. I was thinking, "If I run, I can still grab something at Second Cup." Over the trash bins, up the stairs, over the railings. Almost crash into a girl doing the exact same thing going the opposite way when I notice a girl looking around as if she lost something. She noticed me and started running with me. "Do you know who lives there?" She pointed to a house on a hill.  "I'm not sure, but I know the neighbours. Who're you looking for anyway?" We were running on the sidewalk now, slowly going into a residential area. She said the name of who she was looking for, **Can't remember..I never remember names in dreams, no matter how hard I try.** I said, "Oh, I know where that is; it's just over there! It's on a similar hill." We then proceeded to run very weirdly to which I said, "Complete strangers! Ha!" We're almost to where she needed to be, when my bra was unhooking. All of a sudden, I'm just in my underwear, trying to fix my bra, which was also strapless. It almost burst off of me, but I caught it in time. Some immature men were making comments, but I didn't have time for that. **AND THEN MY ALARM WENT OFF! Will I ever get back to work on time? Will that girl find that house/ person she was looking for? I guess we'll never know.**

Keep moving.

I was in a theatre, but it was a huge building with tonnes of rooms. I had to fight a guy with a double bladed chainsaw for a head. He was huge too. Luckily, I out was small enough to fit through the doors and I eventually outran him. I'm running around the place looking for my purse, and I find George's backpack there and Maha's scarf. I notice movement and see a guy walking towards me. I hissed at him. He dropped his hood and said, "Whoa, sorry..." to which I responded with, "Sorry, it's been a really weird day." 

"Oh, no worries. I hope it picks up for you."  I gathered everything and made my way into the street where I ran into George. We had to make a stop at an apartment building, that was above a store.

A homeless man started walking really close behind us. When I turned around to find out who was behind us, he immediately started pushing me and asking for money. When I refused, he started pushing me hard and shouting in spanish. He grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go. He was threatening to break my thumb. George had already gone inside the apartment. I could shake this homeless man. But the store underneath the apartment was being robbed and the homeless man let go of me. I noticed the guy that I hissed at, at the theatre was outside the store. He noticed me looking at him and gave me a big smile.  "Hey!"  "I better leave, with the way my day has been the cops'll be her-" *Cops pulled up as I was saying this. So I hid behind a car because George was still up in that building and didn't know about the robbery.

Tornado

So Erin was doing a project, where she had to take pictures of natural things happening and then get an expert to look at them and confirm that, "Yes, this is a hail storm." sort of thing. But she was taking some pictures of the darkening sky when it very quickly started turning inwards and spiralling. It was turning into a tornado. I was trying to get everyone inside. Maha and Niamh were now there, but no one was listening to me. The longer we waited to go inside, the more people started showing up. My uncle Gerry was there and he tried to pick up a lady in a wheel chair, but the lady started screaming. But no one was listening to my pleas to get inside a house, any house. To the basement. By the end of the dream, there were at least 50 people standing around outside.

Christmas Decorating

      I woke up from a nap, in a new house/mansion. In same clothes as now. (Blue pants, Muse shirt, no bra.) I went into another room on the same level (which was the higher level of the house) and saw my Dad, Centa and Ty. All standing in a circle, as if planning something. So when I walked in, they said, "Let's get started." They gave me this weird foam stuff, that I had to take apart and put in boxes for the everyday stuff.          I was so confused. I asked out loud, "So, what are we doing?" And Courtney popped out of another room downstairs and said, "We're Christmas decorating! And we've got guests!" I noticed my uncle Alan was in the kitchen, and as I was running back downstairs after having checked the room I first walked out of for my clothing, ran back downstairs and passed Katie, my cousin. She went Goth. I didn't have time to say much though because I wanted to find my bra. So I ran down the stairs with only a "Hello" to her.       I got to another bedroom on the main floor. This room was humungous. High ceilings, one wall was entirely shelving, but it was dark wooden shelves that had hidden doors on them. Inside each were TONNES of blankets and pillows! My first though, "I am going to have SO MANY SLEEPOVERS!!"

       I searched and soon found my bra. But I couldn't put it on. I kept getting tangled in it. I flopped onto the bed and had another nap. Woke up and tried again to put the bra on. But I noticed that there was a spider on my shirt. When I looked up, there was spiders everywhere. So I started hitting them with my shirt. It wasn't any good because there were too many of them. But in the hustle, I lost my bra again. But when Dad came to the door to say that supper was soon ready, I had another shirt on, and the shirt seemed to have a bra on the inside of it. ***This house was awesome. But I also remember asking how many people could live in it, and the response was 3. I want those cupboards for real though. They were friggen awesome.***

Running

So some of the details have been lost since I woke up, but here is my newest dream. I was sleeping in. It was 11 o'clock in the morning. My boss calls me...and is wondering why I'm not at work. **I am currently in NS, and she is in ON... so really this doesn't make sense** I tell her I'll be there in 25 minutes. Once I get there, I realize I'm still on vacation and promptly leave again. I had just overheard someone talking about an improv thing they keep seeing. Once I started making my way home, **which I guess in the dream meant  coming back to NS** I noticed a lot of singing. I got to what should have been Queen and Bay and there were a ton of people singing and dancing about women's rights. I wanted to go past them because I wasn't in a mood to become part of their group. (They kept taking bystanders). I was walking through a field towards Yonge street, and the group of singers were following me through this field. I was rather fed up with this so I sped up a bit. There was only one person who seemed to be keeping up with me. We must have taken a wrong turn because the road that should have led to Yonge, was now an ocean. We were in an area that looked run down and abandoned. We can to the edge and saw an elephant just standing in the waves. We were both wondering if it was real or not when it started moving towards us. We ran away from the edge waiting to see if it would come up on the bank or not. It did and started for us. Communicating through its' mind that this is my land but the girl with me is trespassing. The elephant wasn't friendly so we tried to run for it because it started to chase us. We ran to the street and found ourselves blocked in. There was an ape gardening in a back yard, but when it noticed us, it raised the alarm. We ducked under a bench that was surround by trees and an old rusty car. We were fairly well hidden. Upon looking to my right I saw a girl, a rabbit and a man knocking on a door 2 feet away from us. They looked friendly, so I climbed out from under the bench and introduced myself and asked for help. The rabbit shrank when we got inside the house. (The rabbit didn't like us, it kept nipping at our ankles and toes). The man kept glaring at us but the girl wanted to help. We were taking our shoes off to follow the girl into the room to get some answers and get out of here.... **When my alarm went off. Damn, that had been a rather interesting dream too..**
