Jack: Name a more iconic duo than my crippling fear of abandonment and my anxiety. Iâll wait.
Crutchie: You and me!
Jack, tearing up: I-

Life has been super insane. Hopefully online tomorrow!!

I have to submit a 150 word short story (exactly 150 words). Content doesnât matter. how is this?
âTwenty bucks says you donât make it.â
âI bet ya donât have twenty bucks.
âMy brother does.â
âHe isnât gonna give it to you.â
âTwenty bucks says he will!â
The pair stood face to face, arms crossed and scowling.
Caleb pushed out his lower lip and jabbed a finger at the other boy. âYou canât make two bets!âCan he?â He turned to the crowd of spectators, waiting for affirmation before Erik cut him off.
âWell? Are you gonna do it or not?â he demanded of Caleb.
âI said I was!â Calebâs scowl deepened and he pulled down his bright green shirt.
âWell, câmon, then!â
Caleb looked from his opponent to the monkey bars, gulping loudly before approaching them. Had they gotten taller in the last ten minutes?
RIIIIING
Saved by the bell.
Caleb sighed in relief and turned back to the other boys. âBetcha I can do it tomorrow.â
fo serious I need constant approval here. this is my first time in a creative writing environment for a grade.

Shower time
thewalkingmouthdavey:
âWas than an insult about how clumsy I am? Because right now I really don´t careâŚâ He chuckled as he leaned into the touch, closing his eyes. It had, indeed, been a very long day and he was just glad to be home and with Jack.
âYesâŚhow about you?â
âI would never insult you,â Jack replied with a hint of sarcasm, unable to refrain. He leaned his head against Daveyâs, allowing the water from the showerhead to cascade down and spray his face.
âNot bad...think I scored a few jobs.â He let out a sigh and shook his head. Even though painting was his true passion, Jack knew it didnât pay the bills. Still, working the temp agency system was exhausting.Â
thewalkingmouthdavey:
Davey could feel his heart beating a little faster in his chest, nothing necessarily uncommon around Jack, but the fact that the other was willing to let him into his private place, a place he knew not many people had been to, made it all the more important to him. âYou make this city bearable,â He then replied before he could actually think about it.
âI meanâŚyou. And the boys. Having FRIENDS makes it bearable.â he then added, glad that Jack couldn´t see just how much he was blushing right now.
Daveyâs slip didnât go unnoticed by Jack, but he said nothing. It made him feel good that Davey thought that highly of him, but he couldnât help but feel it undeserved. Jack knew he wasnât the most reliable of the fellas; he created more problems than he solved. Hearing Davey say otherwise was confusing, and Jack wasnât sure how to respond.
âYeah... well, uh, weâs should get tah sleep,â he replied finally.Â
