x-men "superpowers" have to have downsides, and yeah they do but I mean everyday downsides that aren't talked about
wolverine with chronic pain because his bones are literal metal
cyclops with sensitivity to blue light because he's so used to seeing red
jean and charles with chronic migraines
gambit with burns from accidents with his powers
GIVE ME MORE PROBLEMS. I don't want them to be cool and superpowered all the time I want them to FEEL human to me

Cyborg Seamstress
These corps don't know how to manufacture decent clothing nowadays. If you want something to last you have to make it yourself, or find a cyborg seamstress to handmake it for you.
"The Street finds its own uses for things" has become a denatured part of cyberpunk, sadly in favour of "Its just stupid to expect to fight the corps, its all grimdark". But art like this reminds me of theearly cyberpunk, back when you could steal a win from between the Man's teeth. Thank you.
Glad I could help bring that feeling back for you.
The idea that it is pointless to resist sounds like some corpo propaganda to me.
Of course, the corps will try to grind you down to a pulp. Of course, you won't be able to bring them down yourself. That's why you dont do it alone! You find others, and you help each other fight! And you keep fighting, no matter how futile it might seem. You show others the act of resistance is worth doing for the sake of resisting in of itself. And you inspire enough people to join you until eventually the gears of oppression seize up from too much resistance!
