tbh i think that that's just how they are in canon. like we can all agree that's some secret third thing shit going on without any outside interference.

is there such a thing as a toxic qpr? if not there is now. kandrew will never talk about their feelings or what they mean to each other and it WILL kill them :D

they are like. pairbonded feral cats to me. always together, swinging wildly between beating the fuck out of each other and trying to crawl into each other's skin. if one died the other would eat them type shit

im very fond of them just straight up ignoring each other's triggers. 90% of the time it's not malicious, you know? like, if kevin flinches and her eyes go a little glassy when andrew grabs her jaw, that's just because everyone is afraid of andrew. he's used to people reacting like that to him

they share a bed. i have no justification for this aside from kevin being the little spoon.

please imagine them having a huge fucking fight. screaming, beating the fuck out of each other, all of the foxes on the sidelines thinking this is it, this is the one that they cant come back from.

cut to that night, after a long day of very tense silence, after andrew's smoked another 5 years off his life, they just. go to bed. kevin hogs the blankets and andrew kicks her and they wake up just as angry as they were the day before but they are a set do Not separate them

they will never apologize to one another. they do not talk about their feelings. none of their fights ever get resolved because they just give each other the silent treatment until they get bored and go back to normal (which is what i think happened with the choking incident)

andrew being extremely Weird about other people caring for kevin because thats HIS job and he needs to be useful always in order to justify his presence in her life

unfortunately that also means he's not going to tell her to stop or take it easy as often as he should. take that how you will.

after riko dies kevin's codependency gets so much worse (see what happens when you abandon your partner? etc etc)

being apart is fine if it's not for too long. any longer than a week and they're both experiencing the horrors
