I've been debating making a pinned post for a while, I just never felt like doing it, so I'm going to do it now.

(28) What is their biggest fear? What in general scares them? How do they act when they're scared?

Alyx's biggest fear is the ones she considers close finally deciding she isn't worth the effort. It tries to keep herself from getting close to people for that reason specifically, but meeting Loch and Ikora changed that, against her better judgement.

She isn't scared of much in general, but the things it is scared of are usually enough to keep her from forming meaningful connections, like abandonment, attention, and rejection. But, she is actually extremely afraid of the Hive. They unsettle her in a way it doesn't know how to explain, and the discomfort runs so deep, she even has a hard time conversing with Eris Morn.

Whenever Alyx feels any sort of emotion she isn't ready to deal with, it drinks until she can't remember what it was that she was afraid of. Mainly when the thought of people giving up on her crosses her mind. But when it's facing the Hive, she becomes more like a skittish cat: ready to fight if need be, but much more inclined and likely to run.

2. (49) What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take every with them?

Alyx isn't really the type to apply sentimental value to objects, but her most prized possession is her Ager's Scepter with 100k kills on it. She fell in love with that gun the moment she laid eyes on it, and she never turned back.
