victoria: in the waiting room…?
cassie: ah

i cannot stop making the pitt memes, somebody help
literally the exact same person??? like what
Gonna be real, the idea that Frank's wife stayed by his side and inspired him to clean up so he could be the father his kids need is a much more compelling (and hopeful to irl addicts) storyline than the idea that his addiction led to him torching his marriage just so Mel can romantically glue the pieces back together.
Not to mention even if I didn't get annoyed with people ignoring how she's canonically asexual (and possibly aromantic by Taylor's description too) girl's got enough on her plate with her sister, she doesn't need to become the hero to Frank's story just because she was the one person he wasn't an asshole to.
fucking beautiful perspective! i’m gonna say it as loud as i can.
no. woman. deserves. to. have. to. heal. and. prioritize. a. man’s. mental. health. and. wellness. above. their. own.
this includes abby as well! she should prioritize her future, and whatever that means for the future of her marriage.
many people have made it clear that this is not a fandom that understands the experiences behind addiction and recovery, but that means this show (and future research and experience) can be a learning experience for so many viewers, much like the learning experience we are watching our favorite hcw have on screen :)
“oh dear, don’t be discouraged,
i’ve been exactly where you are”
mel and frank DO have organic and hopeful chemistry, but they cannot foster a healthy relationship while langdon is not only MARRIED, but also still in active addiction. they’ll end up like hating each other like cassie and her ex, but yall horny kingdon stans can’t accept this 🤷♂️
(Speaking as a Kingdon shipper) it's a good thing this is a fictional ship we're writing about for fun and literally does not have to be realistic then lol
good to know that you all suddenly throw your morals (that i hope you have) out the window the second it is “not real.”
any good writer appreciates and understands the fact that
life imitates art, and art imitates life.
whether it aligns with your hopeless romantic hopes and fics:
it. is. that. serious.
the core of this show is to be a realistic and social justice themed narrative, we are ignoring the entire goal of the show if we don’t treat the fandom as serious as we treat the show.
hope that helps.

the power of love and my mind will make it all better
cool! stay tuned for the scene where mel walks into their room to find langdon on the floor without the life in those eyes she loves so much. anyone who actually wants to see happiness for them both (together) will wait for the opportunity for a healthy relationship for them, instead of a traumatic event of more devastation any possible langdon x mel breakup could offer. excusing morals and relationship standards, even if it’s fictional, is both a disservice to yourself and the world around you.
thinking about her again
can’t even properly thirst over the chain because where did the ginger go?!
oh kind and traumatized fictional redhead women, you will always be famous in my book
who heard me bark? be honest
