Oh, you’re a jerk! And here I was starting to feel bad, now I take it all back. Yes, we passed out candy at the facility and then I did it again in the night at home. It was precious seeing all the kids in their costumes. That’s very sweet of you to do that though, I bet they all loved it. Besides, you’re not an old man yet.

You’re just realising it now?! Oh man, I thought you saw through me, woman! Tsk, tsk. I expect better. It is isn’t it? I mean back in the UK, I don’t see this at all.. only teenagers trying to get pissed in some weird hotel or house during the time. Oh, I feel the age catching up alright. I know I am still at my prime but seriously, who knew kids have the ability to break your spirits and back as well?

They had gotten the more important things unpacked, ones for the bedrooms, bathrooms, the office upstairs which they converted partially into Bailey’s work room for when she’s not at the studio. Which was another reason for them to delay in unpacking. Even the dogs insisted in helping, dragging things out of boxes as Bailey went, this would go on for ten minutes or so the brunette chasing after them. Until it became a game to them, going back and forth which Bailey would then ban the dogs out into their backyard so finish what she had started.

“I missed you more.” She smiled. Shrugging, “I feel like he’s already done so much, I hate to ask more of him.” Smiling at the mention of Adra, “I miss her already.. I’m glad she was able ot make it down for the wedding. It was really good seeing her. “ Pausing just a hair, “Maybe I’ll see if Keila would want ot come over and help. Still have yet to give her a tour of the new place. Which.. once we get everything unpacked we should have a housewarming party.” Bailey conjured the idea. 

Yanking the fridge door open, peering inside. Seeing some steaks that had been there already for a few days, which they might as well get them for use. “We do have these steaks still, we might as well use them they’ve been in there for two days. Sure can make some mashed potatoes, and anything you want along with it. What do you think?” The brunette asked, peeking at him from behind the fridge door. Already seeing he was snacking.  “Couple gifts.. that would save us a lot of money as well. Yes, we can do that. It’’ll save tons of time.”

With his busy schedule and Bailey changing the home office into her own studio, sometimes Nate felt guilty for not helping around much. He figured they need more time to get settled in. “Nah he won’t mind it. Plus he loves all of these things,” Nate laughed, shrugging. “And also he loves bossing me around so I say let him have at it.” After the whole fiasco of Nick being angry about their elopement, the elder Simmons had tried his best to appease his brother. At Bailey’s idea of a housewarming party, Nate brightened up. “That’s a great idea. Plus some people are asking me for a tour and I told them that they have to be patient.”

They did a great work with the fish tank and even putting Ivory in another corner by himself rather than side by side with Bailey’s piranhas. Ivory tends to get stressed out and even though it’s just a fish, Nate loved that little bugger. He popped another bunch of nuts in his mouth as he watched Bailey poking around in the fridge. Nate moved around the counter and mused as she spoke about having steaks and mashed potatoes. “Yummy,” he remarked, rubbing his stomach. “Couple gifts is best. Besides, we can always see if our tastes match when it comes to one person. It’ll be fun!”

Nate neared her to give Bailey a quick kiss on her temples before he moved away. “I can set up the grill pan on the stove… And we should skin the potatoes before boiling..” He was basically just talking to himself as he moved around the larger kitchen, busying himself. Picking at the suggestive apron Bailey got for him sometime ago, Nate put it on and pretended to be shake like a stripper. “Are you going to make it rain, Mrs Simmons?” He called out, gyrating his hips as he skinned some potatoes. “I don’t accept one dollar bills. I expect more,” he taunted her, pouting his lips and shaking his hips to imaginary music.

Well, with how fancy you looked, I’m sure Bailey is having you keep that costume around. I’ll just have to have a space party and make sure you’re invited now! Sugar highs are the worst! Water does help, but only if you eat something too. Bread just seems to be a winner. It soaks up alcohol, it even helps when my stomach hurts in some cases, and maybe even sugar highs. I haven’t tested the theory. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Boyce and I decorated and helped with a trunk or treat, we did karaoke and hung out at the Pie Hole, we ran around like hooligans, and then played poker back at my house. Halloween candy makes an excellent bet.

I can’t keep it with me longer than a week! I rented it out. Apparently buying it costs me an arm and a leg and I rather much keep them attached to my body. She’ll be fine without the costume on me! Hah! Hhmm.. I should try that the next time then. A little experiment to a theory is always best isn’t it? Oh my god! No wonder Boyce told me his Halloween was epic! You lucky birds running around. I wish my old man-ness would stop so I could join you guys next year!

Nah, I was just teasing you, Keira. You know that I am fine with you beating me. I’m not an egomaniac. Passed out candy? So cool. I did that as well, entertained the kids at my ward.. Almost broke my back giving them the rocket ride. My old man-ness is showing.

Ah! I’ve been wanting to see that I just haven’t had the time. Where did you get such an awesome costume though? My Halloween was good, I was working as well passing out candy at the Zoo.

It’s a great movie! You’re still able to catch it I think! I found this awesome costume store downtown and this was like in their backdoor collection because its expensive and you can only rent it out. I had to do so much poking and persuading for them to agree. Really? Did the kids dress up in the zoo as well?
