What is the Stinking Rose? How did you know I love garlic breath. You kow the way to my heart Keira Holburn.
It’s a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Everything on the menu is covered in garlic. They also have a garlic ice cream. Because I know you. I know all the things that get you going. I found out the way to your heart very fast. Typically it involves food in one way or another.
Yeah, we were called the Pharoah-moans.
Sounds very scientific and very sexual at the same time. Was that an indication to the type of songs you had?
I don’t doubt that, I’m just extra cautious. Between Sebastian and Stanley, I’m always on my toes, waiting for what their next devious plan might be. When he’s feeling a bit cocky, he dreams bigger on those plans. I’ve never owned a bird, Stanley would either eat it, or beat the poor thing into submission… I’d imagine. I was quite surprised he took to Luna, my other cat, so well.
Well, I think I want to roll my eyes at his antics every ten minutes. BE STRONG WOMAN! I believe in you!
I can understand that. You have to be careful from both sides. That he does, I’ve noticed. I had a bird as a kid and then I’ve had Ginger for a few years now. I couldn’t have any dogs or cats at my last place so she’s what I got instead. Do they get along or do they generally ignore one another?
Well, I’m glad you do. I shall try my best. Not only for myself but for you and Tiffany as well.
The Warmth it Radiates || HC
It was actually starting to feel like what winter was for most people. The day had been gloomy with a chill present in the air. Most people loved it but Keira was still not quite used to a cold holiday. Not that she disliked it but it definitely took her some getting used to. When on most days she’d have all her windows open to let the cool fresh breeze in and loft in the soft smell of the salt from the ocean, this day she had everything shut up and had a small fire crackling in the fireplace. Some people she was sure would think most Southern Californians wouldn’t have a need for such a think but for Keira it was a Godsend in times like these.
She had gotten off work, freezing as she had not thought to check the weather before had and had not dressed appropriately for the cold winds. She had nearly sprinted from her car to the front door just to keep from shivering like a maniac. Once inside she found that the cold had crept it’s way in and had rushed to get the place heated. She had turned on the heat on the thermostat at firth and had changed into more comfortable clothes, and more layers. However, as she relaxed after a long day at the facility, she decided to finally make good use of her fireplace. She hadn’t used the one inside since she had bought the place. The one outside on the other hand had been turned on plenty of times when she had guests over to entertain or when it was just her and Sebastian cuddling under the stars. But there had never been a real need for the one indoors to be on.
Sitting there though, as it crackled and omitted a nice warmth, Keira realized she liked how traditionally it felt. Or what she had always imagined a traditional winter was like for most of the world. She also realized that with her moving in with Sebastian after the holiday, she didn’t have a whole lot of time to make use of it. So whatever opportunity arose she was going to make the most of it. A small part of her was sad at the thought of leaving her home so soon. She hadn’t even lived in it for that long but the reminder of getting to be with someone she loved all the time made the small ache seem worth it. Besides, she could always come back sometimes. Even if it were to just cuddle up by the fire for a few hours.
2015 has been a big year. If you could chance something about it what would it be?
That is has. I think overall it was a pretty good year and there isn’t much I’d change. I do wish there was a way I could have mended a broken friendship. I wish I could have saved it and I wish I would have gone about things differently to keep from hurting someone who I truly cared about. I wish I could go back and show him how sorry I truly was. However, we can’t change the past and all we can do is hope that in the New Year we’ve learned from our old mistakes and won’t repeat them.
Top 3 inspiring women on the site
I think there are lots of inspiring women on here but if I had to say which 3 inspire me the most, I’d have to say:
Keila- she’s so strong and still so kind despite not having the easiest past. The fact that she’s so humble as well is just an added bonus. Plus her company is some of the best that I’ve ever enjoyed. She just has so many wonderful things to say.
Marcie-The fact that she’s been able to thrive in such a male driven industry is amazing and the fact that she doesn’t let others scare her into submission is completely commendable. She knows her passion and knows her skill and won’t let anyone tell her anything otherwise.
Kailani- She’s kind and doesn’t seem to let the fame associated with her family name get to her head which can be a great feat for others. Not to mention the fact that she’s always there for her friends when they need her and even happy to be there for the people she barely knows.
Do you do anything in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to do lots of things! Most the time I’m either relaxing at my place or I’m over at Sebastian’s trying my best (and failing) to beat him at video games or I’m down at the beach surfing. I also meet up with my trainer for a few hours a week at my local gym to work out but I wouldn’t say that is necessarily fun. And though I haven’t done it in a while since everyone’s been to busy with the holidays, I also like to meet up with a few people on here for some 80′s karaoke and drinks. Or I’ll even just let ginger out of her cage and dance to some music over a glass of wine.
Do you ever plan to move back to Australia?
I think about it sometimes and maybe when I retire I’ll head back out there but I really don’t see myself moving back anytime soon. I love Australia but I have made a good home here in LA and I don’t plan to leave any of the people who have come to mean a lot to me anytime soon. Plus the facility is here.

Well, yes, probably… but don’t say it too loud! It’ll go to his head, and do you know how hard I’ve worked to deflate his ego a bit? I don’t think you can even tell! Ginger? What type of animal is she?
Oh my goodness, it’s hysterical! Like some sort of angry bird or something! Well yes, but you’re in a position where it’s easy to bribe him into not being mad at you.
Oh don’t worry, I already know to watch my compliments around him. I could only imagine all the work you’ve had to do and I partly thank you for that. She’s my parakeet. She’s a little flirt when it comes to men but Sebastian in particular. She obviously doesn’t realize we have to try and keep him humble.
It really is but it also makes me want to roll my eyes sometimes. Well, that’s true but it’s still not the easiest when he’s pouting from a bruised ego.
Before the blonde. I was in a punk rock band for like three months and everyone did it.
A punk band? Really? Seems like you guys were trying to make quite a statement.

Now I’m imagining someone going up to the crocodile and trying to wrestle and the croc just thinking, “Oh no not again.” Aww, well that is wonderfully sweet of you to say. Maybe one day. I do want to maybe start doing some theatre instead of just film and television. That’s true. I guess even knowing just one person makes a big difference, because then they can introduce you to others and you have a good place to start.
Ha, that would be hilarious. He’s just like “Dave look at this idiot? Can you help me out and get him off me?” While other crocs just look on, shaking their heads. I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t believe it. Why don’t you? Or are you locked in a contract that keeps you from expanding into theater? Oh, it definitely makes a world of difference. Of course even now I still get a little home sick from time to time.

I will never say no to someone bringing me food. I’ll be home till about three, then I am at the studio for Jhene for three hours.

Ah, there was just a lot of competition in the music industry. We were barely keeping it together. Looking back at it now, I guess it really wasn’t what I wanted to become.
