I’m hyped for Hazbin Hotel, so I thought I’d try to redraw Charlie Morningstar. I think I’ve improved a lot since the end of April! This Charlie might, however, look a little too sinister 😅

(I vaguely used Kiernan Shipka of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina fame as a reference for proportions, as I think she’d be an excellent live action Charlie!)

I couldn’t decide between drawing a demon and a clown, so this happened. I’d say it ended up being vaguely Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel-inspired. I think this is my best original character drawing yet! I can see me playing her in a future D&D or Pathfinder game. Maybe as a bard? Or a warlock/witch?

Since I posted my SWTOR character art here recently, I thought, why not this beautiful screenshot? It perfectly encapsulates why Qyzen is the perfect sassy sidekick to my even sassier Jedi Consular. I remember back in the day a lot of people complaining the femme consular voice actor was too calm and passive, and that Qyzen wasn't a good fit for the Jedi Consular. Those people clearly picked the wrong dialogue options. My Consular, as the kids would say, is serving absolute C-word.

Katy Manning might be better known for playing fan-favourite Doctor Who companion, Jo Grant/Jones. However, she also plays renegade Timelady (depending on the timeline, because timey-Wiley) Iris Wildthyme in Big Finish audios. Iris is a fantastic character. Her life is chaotic and packed to the brim with fun. She travels in her smaller-on-the-inside TARDIS, the Celestial Omnibus. Her most prominent companion is the scholarly Panda, an actual stuffed panda. I sincerely hope for more Iris Wildthyme audios in the future!

Raven from Teen Titans/Titans. I’ve been rewatching the 2003 cartoon recently, because the TikTok algorithm kept showing me clips from it, making me nostalgic. It used to be one of my favourite cartoons growing up. Obviously, Raven was my favourite character. What are other people’s favourite Teen Titans (from screen or comics)?

I’ve seen quite a lot of mountainscapes with dragon silhouettes in the background recently. I wanted to give it a go. I think I gave the dragon too much detail to be a silhouette, and not enough to be fully realised, but they look sort of cute in a derpy way 🐲🐉

Doctor Who, War Master Drawing

It is a sin that we only got to see Derek Jacobi’s Master onscreen for a few minutes. Fortunately, he has recorded numerous Big Finish audios, so we can see what this incarnation got up to around the Time War, before he used the chameleon arch to turn himself into the human known as Professor Yana. The War Master audios kept me sane throughout the pandemic, and new releases are still one of the things I most look forward to. I’m incredibly excited to listen to the War Master box set, “Solitary Confinement”, releasing on Tuesday!

Note that I based this image on the Master’s appearance and his TARDIS from Big Finish boxart and trailers, rather than Jacobs’s brief TV appearance.
