Jack and Robby both knew they liked each other, and more than just a friend type of way, but it was left undiscussed.

Robby’s heard how Jack’s friends talk about gay people. He doesn’t know if Jack is the same way. The topic is never discussed between them.

He notices his lingers glances, his longing touches. He doesn’t know if it’s just friendly, if it’s just how Jack is with all his friends.

He doesn’t know.

That’s what scares him, he doesn’t want to mess up this friendship he has built.

Eveytime his hand lands on Jack’s, maybe for longer than necessary, he gets scared.

This could ruin his career, this could ruin the best friendship he has ever had.

Maybe when they are all alone, sitting in Jack’s old pick up truck, star gazing, the fear starts to wither away.

Jack’s calloused hand finds his, they intertwine their fingers together, no one speaks, just the animals from the forest making noises and the wind rustling.

Maybe Jack rolls over, looking, gazing at Robby’s face, his free hand brushing the man’s hair out of his face.

And maybe Jack closes the gap between them, all the fear Robby felt disappearing.

This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.

And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.
