This is vitriol! A chemist and self taught biologist who was hired along with his father by a totally legit and reputable pharmaceutical company to work on a top secret project involving megafauna biology and splicing it together…surely nothing could go wrong!

finished this battle damaged white scars thing from the Armageddon box and I am VERY happy with how it turned out, the white was a blast to paint and the free handed details were good practice (and hopefully don’t bloat the whole paint job)

gonna go back and paint the last of my dnd miniatures before I move back to warhammer but for now…new short story coming soon

due to some recent information I’ve now realised I’m gonna start sharing my writing away from google docs

instead I’ll be writing on Ellipsus! (Thank you @princeleonis for showing it to me) and I’ll be periodically posting reposting some of my older stories over the next few days (as well as some new ones to tide over as I work on wanderers call part two)

Google scrapes on all their stuff. Email, docs, you name it. It's really upsetting because docs is what I've been using since elementary and I can't find another program that replicates it well.

Discord also analyzes every message with ai, which inherently causes scraping. Tumblr does, but at least has a setting to turn it off on all your posts. YouTube uses everything to train ai, tiktok, etc etc... Not really much escape

Hi, these bees are babies! They’re not clumsy at all, this is what is called orientation flights. After birth and before beginning their careers as foragers (as all Honey bees cycle through all the jobs in the Hive throughout their lifespan), Honey bees take short flights back and forth, to and from the Hive, to orient themselves with their wings and their home so they can learn its location and how to get back home after foraging! Everyone has to learn, these are just smol little baby turkeys. Bees use the angle of the sun for location so adults have a better and more direct sense of location than any human
