dnd character and art practice

In honour of a campaign I’m gonna be in where I get to be a player character for the first time! I decided to make my wee creature. This is Mad Moggs! A Kobold barbarian who believes he’s a draconic warlord thrown from his mountain keep and usurped by who is in reality his old master. First is a drawing I did and the second is hero forge (with the bowler hat he’s supposed to have)

the drawings certainly not the greatest, the axe arm looks broken in multiple places but I think it doesn’t look too bad for my first time drawing something humanoid, I wanna draw smaller sketches with more close ups and such when I’m back home.

It’s been a while since I painted anything so I tried getting back into it with that gold dragon, I’m pretty happy with how it looks so far! Problem is I just haven’t a clue what to do for the base

school is almost over then I’ll be working for a bit. With my exams out of the way I’m hoping to finally..FINALLY get back to writing and drawing. And most importantly painting with that Armageddon box out soon (on my birthday no less mwehehehe)

My oldest sister has been fighting cancer for four years, it began in her breast and spread to her bones and liver. She has less than a week left with us, and I’m posting this from beside her. This is the drawing I did for her birthday this year

recently I lost one of my best friends to cancer and it felt like my world shattered, I can imagine how you must be feeling the same way, all of my thoughts and prayers go to you, your sister and your family in this time

The armegeddon box honestly looks really cool (well mostly)

The new orks look fantastic they have so much personality and look amazing, plus a lot of them are great editions to my existing ork army, if j had to go for my favorite model it’s hard to choose between the wartrakk and the weirdboy for me…oh weirdboy they could never make me hate you

And then there’s the space marines…I’m not dissapointed I’m just…whelmed. The vanguard vets are ok but I honestly might just use them for bits.

the land speeders also ok but it’s not really anything too fancy, even though it’ll probably be great on the table top and I’ll likely use these in a white scars paint scheme, same with the interscessors, another very whelming group of models

the bolteradicators are actually pretty cool! Definitely my favourite non character model cause the shields are nice. They’ll probably go to my iron hands

but I’m pleased to say the character models don’t fall sort at least, though tje problem is I’m mostly unsure of how to divide them or what to do with them.

there is two I have an idea on. The captain and the librarian are getting turned into salamanders, I have a really fun kitbash idea with the librarian to turn the staff into the song of entropy and this is quite literally in the perfect pose to do so

the jump chaplain is a bit easier to distribute since it’s one of those kinds off characters that has a unique armour scheme, and if I really wanted I could magnatise some shoulder pads or just use it for spare parts

the only one I can’t fully figure out is the ancient. Though I have been thinking I could use the banner for an iron hands dreadnought kitbash I wanna do and use the body as either a lieutenant or something. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas lemme know!

I just to get the truth out there

Some things I wanna clear up about this. This isn’t the callout of a call-out I simply want to clear the air and get the truth out there cause this dude isn’t posting the full context. I don’t wanna say anything about this anymore after that but I trust people can make their own opinions and conclusions about these people and their blog. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT HARASS ANYONE IN HERE. This is to make things clearer and eastier not to bully or harass

I wasn’t sent by anyone to “harass” the blogs, I done it if my own choice because the blogs are hallucinating claims that came out of nowhere

I did not harass anyone like this post claimed, I respectfully reached out to this guy and he was being very aggressive towards me

Leon was never going to dox anyone as multiple people have stated close to the situation. They wanted to put them on a blacklist so people would not interact with the people causing trouble, there has been a blacklist in the server for a long time it is nothing new

While yes they were potentially talking about Roblox usernames it was NEVER supposed to put on a public blacklist it was just to block them on roblox . And even if they did putting a Roblox username on a blacklist for people to avoid not harass is not doxxing. (Since this seems to be the main thing the callout post is falling back on)

One or multiple of these people were stalking the discord server and taking screenshots of people not even involved and refusing to blur out anything like usernames. Which in my opinion is a bit sketchy and makes everyone paranoid and unsafe

i 100% understand this is a very confusing and complex situation and that no one wants to hear anymore about it. But I implore everyone to look at all the evidence available before you come to a conclusion wherever that may be. This will be the last time I talk about it and remember

I’m not doing this to direct an attack or harass anyone involved. I simply want to show credible evidence of the call out post and the people behind it are being a bit sketchy and agressive

^ when originally talking about this, this is what led me to remove the members from my server. Involving an innocent person and making them uncomfortable about it was upsetting, and if they can shit talk me, they can shit talk anyone in that server.

Here was me being a "dickrider" and also? They deleted all the messages so I wouldn't have evidence but I took screenshots while it was happening because I'm not a fucking idiot. The dickrider part was because someone gave feedback but they actually treated me nicely about it. They turned around and shit talked me with Raven who had already upset several members + gotten mad at someone of age for smoking a cigarette until I told them to knock it off in call. Several mods confirmed the behavior was disrespectful and not constructive, especially expecting that I'm writing pressure when I'm not. I'm writing Project Solace.

I would also like to state, y'all are really expectant of an 18yo. Being a legal adult doesn't change the fact that I'm still young and have not lived even a quarter of my expected lifespan. My brain is still developing and I'm processing trauma and dealing with disability. I'm not going to be your "mature adult" it's eightTEEN because I am barely an adult myself. Being "oh you're so immature" as a defense is also ableist as fuck, by the way, especially when you're using it to put someone with mental disabilities down, whether you mean for it to be ableist or not it fucking is.

I think this is all the current stuff I have (I've hit photo limit as well) and I'm willing to find more and answer any questions about it.

I still also have the screenshots of all the BS they're harassing me with on @princeleonis but I suggest you go look yourself since I have in fact run out of photo space here. I will address them in a later post anyway, but if you'd like to know beforehand.

so I decided may as well start with a monster species I’ve wanted to make. The false birch heron! A large megafauna bird that blends in with birch forests, but recently it’s been spotted hunting in ruined buildings after humans

40 foot tall spooky bird dude inspired from the herons from amphibia, but I wanted to add an interesting bit of camouflage, being that these creatures will often stand still for hours to wait for its prey to leave its safe space to then strike and stab prey with its beak

I actually wanna do a more narrative piece tomorrow with a more detailed heron eye looking into a window where a person is hiding but I don’t got the energy for it today. It may not be the best but I’m honestly really proud it! First steps and all that and the first official art of a Ballad of Burning Skies monster to come from me. I just have to be patient and consistent. Then I’ll be able to one day draw really good and write really good

Battle report 23/4/26

Last night was league night in our local game store, decided to bring my salamanders since it’s been a while since I played with them, and I ended up getting paired with a fun tau army

The mission was scorched earth so objectives and actions were essential, admittedly in the first and second battle round I did fuck up a bit with positioning, and the entire game I was having EGREGIOUSLY bad saving throws so I ended up getting my aggressors wipes and my infernus marines vunerable, shockingly though both units managed to survive. (even if only one was left standing in one of the squads) and managed to bring a riptide down to one wound

Over on the other side of the table my eradicators and dreadnought did manage to not only take an important objective but stop an action being done, so some nice bring it down points for me and an objective to sit on

back in the middle things were getting intense. After enduring probably the longest shooting phase of my life I hit back hard, with my land raider raiding the land and my assault terminators out. The objective was holding well and I managed to fight off and kill farsight and annihilate the riptide with a hunter killer missle, while my infernus marines got shadowsun in an overwatch.

the game was hard fought and I was worried with the insanely long shooting phase but I managed to fight back and win 79 - 37! I got a few other projects I wanna do like practicing some drawing and hopefully finishing wanderers call

All in good time hopefully since I’m really busy next two weeks

I get to be more free as an adult than I ever did as a child and I think more kids need to know that. as a high schooler part of what made my depression so bad was being told over and over again that it was the most carefree time of my life. while I was trapped in an abusive home + amongst bullies at school + in a body that wasn’t right for me. opportunities to be carefree don’t end when you turn 18. you can be more you than ever as an adult and that’s such a gift. I know ‘it can get better’ is an annoying thing to see over and over when you’re as trapped as I was back then. and I know that if you’re still a kid you deserve to be free right this second. but it can and will get better and this is not where life stops being interesting. promise
