So...
I stumbled onto this tumblr thing about 2 years ago. Think I stumbled off of it a few months back, but I'm only just now about catching up with reality, which is pretty much par for the course with me. Always a day late and a dollar short.
Anyway, I got no right inflicting myself on the world in this fashion, so I'm going to quit cold turkey, something that I've rarely been able to do with my addictive personality. Was just going to quit quit without posting anything, but I do have some affection for various folks that I follow and that have followed me, and thought it'd be kind of rude. On the other hand I'm well aware of the phenomenon of the whole "I'm shutting down my tumblr" drama business, then coming back, then leaving, then.... Well, that's not what this is. Just a goodbye.
I'm going to get me a new dog and buy a basket case of a big old American car (there's a rusty piece of shit '55 Mercury I've had my eye on a couple of towns over). Think those'll both do me more good than spending my declining years posting weird stuff here.
Course, I'm not saying I won't peek in now and again at all the stuff some of you put up. I like boobs and I like funny things, and I especially like funny things that involve boobs (and monkeys and food), and tumblr is a pretty good source for all of that. But I won't actually be signing in or posting or replying to messages--just spying.
Thanks to everyone who's provided me with entertainment and conversation over the last couple of years. I appreciated it all and enjoyed it. Thanks also to the folks crazy enough to follow me. I hope everyone's dreams come true and all your lives turn out in the very best way possible.
