This little animation took me 3 months to complete. And yes, I am fully aware that this trend was popular on TikTok a couple of months ago. I'm late, I know

But the thing is, I started working on it back in the spring, and then life got really busy. I had to put my work on hold for 3 months due to my university studies and personal commitments. I've only recently returned to my work and have finally completed it.

The trend may have passed, but I still love this art. It's simple, sad, and means a lot to me. So I'm posting it anyway, with no regrets.

Top 5 favorite main weapons of Shadowhunter characters? They don’t have to be named weapons, just the ones that you think are the coolest or most interesting or what have you (I’m not sure we actually have five named weapons now that I think about it)

oooo this is a good one

1) CORTANA! Obviously it’s Cortana who is not putting Cortana at number 1. A named sword with loyalty to my favorite Shadowhunter family. It’s just so unbelievably cool.

2) Izzy’s whip. A very creative weapon and it fits Izzy so perfectly. I love it in the show, I love it in the books, it’s so stylish and cool.

3) Jem’s cane. This one is SOO creative, I believe CC really peaked with her crafting of weapons to characters in TID. Jem being the best disability rep in the Shadowhunters universe is so important to me.

4) Alec’s bow. Sorryyyyyy it’s a basic weapon but I think archery is hot. Alec was doing it first, every other TSC archer wants to be him. Plus it’s such a good character detail for Alec, adding to how he’d never killed a demon on his own pre-TMI, because he’s always hanging back watching out for his siblings.

5) Julian’s crossbow. Like Alec, Julian having a ranged weapon ties so well with his older brother-ness, and staying back to keep the whole battlefield in view. But a crossbow is more brutal than a bow, just like Julian. He’s cutthroat and doesn’t hold back once he’s let go, getting right to the heart of the matter

I tried to make the rose dress from the Frostbite.studio's art for Dru, tho I don't think I catched it the way I wanted 😄 Also I made some changes to Ash's attire from the same art - in my mind he uses capes a lot and here he has one 😊

I am happy with it, but I do think that the perspective is a bit weird, and I did have quite many problems with Dru's hand positions etc. But anyways hope you like it!! 🫶🫶
