nah, stop the bullshit, daniel screwed up with that lil stunt at the beginning. that's what cost him the race. stop trying to look for people to blame.
putting softs instead of hards would've, maybe, in a best case scenario, placed him p15 and then he would've been stuck in the train. but there's no strategy that could've helped him into points. they literally had nothing to lose, they tried what they thought best.
is it sad? yes. do i wish it had ended differently for him? obviously. but it is what it is and i hope he'll do better in miami. the car is clearly improving and the race pace is clearly there.
i am indeed avoiding talking about mclaren because i have not processed this shit show of a weekend. hope everyone on the team is doing okay (cause that must have hurt them as much as it hurts us and they all deserve a hug) and lando and daniel keep a positive attitude towards the rest of the season but boiii it looks like this one's gonna hurt.
mick said “i will prove i can fight for points but i won't get them without my bestie seb with me” and that's very valid of him!
mick did great today.
if it hadn't been for that lil woosh woosh in turn 11 he would have most likely made it into q3. it's only his second season and we need to keep in mind that the amount of learning he did last year between the car and the teammate was... probably almost nonexistent. now he has k-mag, someone he can compare data with and see where he can improve and how and actually learn something so i'm super excited for his season!
OLIVIA HOLT as KATE WALLIS in CRUEL SUMMER (2021)
the thing is,,, we've seen the season, like,,, all this stuff already happened and we know. we've already heard lando's cocky remarks, and seen daniel struggling for like ¾ of the season and we've definitely watched their weird ass dog-cat dynamic evolve into a friendship by the end of the season.
and, above it all, we know netflix. they thrive on rivalries and edited comments and overdramatic shit. yet some of y'all are still buying into it like it's the bible or something instead of treating it like the very addicting very dramatic piece of garbage it is.
americans learned the term coping mechanism and think they can make jokes about a country they can't even point on a map being in danger
Love should not break you. Love should make you stronger.
nancy & ace in season two
friendly reminder that arthur leclerc only took part in 1 full karting championship (which he won) before he had to miss 4 years of racing so charles could keep going because the leclercs didn't have the means to financially support both of them.
the livery????? chef's kiss!

So you must be the daughter he talks about all the time. I would hope so.
“The older Leclerc was the first driver to make it all the way through the Ferrari Driver Academy, the Maranello youth programme for promising young talents, to attain a Formula One seat in the Scuderia. Arthur joined the Academy in 2020 and was immediately competitive in Formula Regional, continuing to shine this year in his maiden season in Formula 3, with two wins to his name, at Le Castellet and Zandvoort.
The two brothers don’t particularly resemble each other. But the Leclerc siblings share the exact same way of speaking, as well as the very same sharp, loud laugh. The relationship between the two men is very close. On those Formula One Grand Prix weekends when Formula 3 is part of the supporting programme, Charles tries whenever possible to make a window in his schedule so that he can watch his brother race.”
