i'm Kirby! i live in dreamland on planet popstar, and i love all things cooking, engineering, and prizefighting~* if i go missing for months at a time, don't worry about it, it's normal! my friend Gooey said that blogging might help me relax, so i decided to set one up here on vortxr!

Characterization stuff!
- Kirby is an AroAce adult! I do not subscribe to the anime as canon, as it's very inconsistent to the rest of the series.
- Kirby was kind of an unsocialized thing that appeared out of nowhere and started eating crops and livestock.
- Gooey, who had lived on Popstar for some decades now, was the first to figure out that this Weird Pink Beast was a person. Even memories from their old dark matter hivemind had no information on the thing. Gooey felt for it, and started trying to somewhat raise and socialize Kirby. Their relationship is not quite familial, instead closer to mentor and student. Kirby continues to really look up to Gooey as a role model even in adulthood.
- Marx, a teenage wannabe jester, was the first friend Kirby made. Marx was a pretty bad influence, but their friendship still means a lot to Kirby, even after being betrayed. The two drifted apart as Marx wanted to continue doing whatever he wanted as the cost of isolation, while Kirby wanted to start conforming so he could have relationships in the larger community.
- King Dedede and Kirby's rivalry started when Kirby was helping Marx break into Dedede's castle for a laugh. Kirby took the fall for their friend so Marx could get out undetected (and steal Dedede's jester hat from before he deposed the previous king)
Rules!
1. No horny directed at Kirby. As an adult, he obviously knows about sex, but it's not something they're interested besides the occasional opportunity to make opportunistic jokes about.
2. I do not tolerate bigotry, including but not limited to racism, sexism, queerphobia, or ableism.
3. Unless tagged with "#in person", assume all interactions are on vortxr/rotomblr/universe generic tumblr. This orb can BLOG.
4. Minors, please do not interact with posts tagged "#18+ only". I'll probably just lightly scold you about boundaries if you do, but enough repeated offenses will earn a block.

That's pretty much it for hard and fast rules. If you want to plot out roleplays, friendships, or just talk, DM me, or send an ask! This blog cannot send asks because it's a sideblog, so I'll add the @ to the end of asks intended to be from this blog.

I just want everyone to know that even though the strike ends tomorrow, and I will go back to my normal type of content, I will never stop supporting Gaza and Palestine as a whole. I will keep reblogging important posts about Palestine. I will continue to boycott the companies. I will return to my normal life, but those in Gaza cannot, and I will never forget that.
More than 60% of the global population that are classified as the Phase 5 famine/catastrophe level of food insecurity and starvation are in the Gaza Strip right now, and that percentage is projected to increase to 95% by Februrary

Legitimately one of the best ways to find out something about your character that you don't know is to have someone else ask you. It's absolutely wild.
