//Hello :) Long time no read. Since I more or less gave up on tumblr RP I can also make it official. This blog is on hiatus. I deeply apologise to those I had ongoing storylines with. After leaving the bathroom, they went their own ways, dressing themselves for the day. It was nearly noon, and they both had the day off. They never minded to stay in bed all day, and Greg had no intentions on staying the house today.

So a simple shirt and shorts would do.

She kissed him when he entered, and he slapped her bum playfully, opening the doors to her small balcony. While he had no desire to leave the house, it was hard to ignore the weather.

She wasn’t a fantastic cook, but he did trust her with making sandwiches. She knew what he liked, so he let her make him a late breakfast.

He knew his way around her flat enough to know where she kept the cushions to the seats on the balcony, and while she made breakfast, he readied the balcony for them.

'Christ, I wish I had a flat like yours,' he complained. His own flat in Brixton had never really become his home after his divorce. It was his brother's flat, which he rented from him. He was lucky to live in the less dodgy bit, but he'd still prefer to have something like Sally had.

The table was quickly set and she would have been a liar if she didn't enjoy this being domestic yet she knew that this was never going to work on the long run. She was a copper and an ambitious one. She wasn't made to be at home and take care of kids and husband. Sally wanted and worked for a 'leading role' in the business of policing. "You are the DI here. Your salary should be enough to afford a place like this." She nursed her coffee, taking a casual look around. "Although the market has changed a lot, I suppose. Your flat isn't that bad. You just need to stop regarding it as a necessary evil." Her smile was amused as she watched him over the rim of her mug. "Have you heard anything from Phi... Anderson?" Work. It always went in the direction of work and she was referring to a case that had been on their desk for a while now but things were going slow and there wasn't a major lead. "Sorry." She added and put the mug aside. "I just can't help myself." Sally moved her bare feet under the table and nudged his leg slightly. "Do you fancy a walk? The weather is too nice to stay in bed all day. We can return there later." A sweet offer, a delicate promise.
