Sesshomarly wondered to himself whether Inuyasha could accurately pick up Togaās scent when heād never met his Father. Most items with his scent should have long since faded away by the time Inuyasha had come across any of Togaās possessions. Perhaps it would be enough to pick up a scent that was similar to their own and make an educated guess.
āThis Sesshomaru need not explain his actions to the likes of you.ā
Need he explain his actions to an individual who remains so openly hostile and unwilling to put true effort into understanding Sesshomaruās motives? Nay, he thinks. Of course, Inuyasha could truly be attempting to understand Sesshomaru, and in that case, Sesshomaru would duly have to admit that Inuyashaās intelligence was so lacking that he couldnāt think critically.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āFather wouldnāt give me the time of day once he sees you anyway.ā
He mutters under his breath, mostly out of frustration than anything. He knew that Inuyasha would hear his words even if uttered under his breath. This Sesshomaru wouldnāt utter anything verbally that he didnāt wish for others to hear.
Of course, it wasnāt just Inuyasha who exhibited some aggression towards his half-brother, as Sesshomaru was just as equally guilty of the crime. Partially, it was his nature, as well as him returning the hostility Inuyasha often conveyed around him. It would be a miracle for the two brothers to truly come to an understanding and be civil with one another. Even now, in a time where they were both looking for traces of their Father, they would likely start a fight with each other.
An ear of the elder inu-youkai twitches as he hears a sound that caught his attention. While the sound of rustling leaves were commonplace in a forest, he could hear that something was shuffling through the leaves at a quick pace. The sound was erratic and quick, but very minute. It was as though something small had been moving at extreme speeds within the trees.
Having a stronger olfactory sense than Inuyasha, he noticed the scent first. Body standing at attention, a clawed hand poised over one of the hilts of his swords strapped by his side, Sesshomaru was ready to strike if necessary. Whatever was approaching, it couldnāt be Toga, though it somehow sported his scent.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āWhatever is approaching, it is not Father.ā
A deep growl hang on the edges of his words as he warned Inuyasha to be prepared for what was to come. The rustling stops when a small fluffy creature lands in front of them with the tiniest of āplop!ā It looked a lot like a furball a cat coughs up⦠but it had eyes. Well, two dark holes peered into them like they were eyes, at any rate.
Surprising and somewhat anticlimactic.
Wonder how it has Togaās scent? The fur was much like his own, so perhaps this was truly a part of Togaās own mokomoko? Curious, he glances at Inuyasha to gauge his reaction to this... thing.
