I like giving characters ethnicities, feel it fleshes them out more and give opportunities for headcanons and art, as well as representation! And thinking about Gorillaz. Noodle canonically Japanese so there that, and pretty sure Russel is African-American. But Murdoc and 2D where i'm thinking.. Seen the headcanon that Murdoc Latino floating around, and honestly, i rock with it. We need more British Latinos, there a Latino Brit drought and maybe, jus maybe Mudz can help. As for 2D, most people say he white, but i can't be the only person who sees Asian in him, right?? Like trust me dudeee he's Wasian, he got a Filipino auntie, i met her myself.

And if Murdoc is Latino, wondering which country he be from. Dunno why, but he giving me sort of a Central American vibe, like Nicaragua or sum. Let me kno what y'all think!
