My username is basically from my brain making weird connections. The 'whisp' part is something I got from seeing Weeping Willow trees while paddleboarding and my brain made some connection about them being called Whispering Willows in some literary contexts(? this could be complete and utter bs) and then I shortened the name down to 'whisp' so I could also use it as an alias on tumblr
The 'withering' part is just because I like to be dramatic and also absolutely adore reading books with gore/violence/horror etc so withering just serves as a term for reaching death because it has connotations of such anyway
