genuinely hate that ghibli has the reputation of light nice films (probably due to its gorgeous scenarios) because sometimes you watch nausicaa of the valley of the wind or princess mononoke, films that are anti war and about kindness and humanity and protection of ecosystems and rage and grief and all you can find is people talking "wow this scene is so aesthetically pleasing!" instead of talking about very raw scenes like when nausicaa confesses that she is afraid of herself because she doesn't know what her anger will make her do. do you people even watched the movies or you just like the aesthetic
